Anything can be addictive. Depends on the person. It's about self control. I could never get addicted to anything because I have a really short attention span. I can't even play WoW for more than 3-4 hours in a row without getting bored. |

Well its depend How the person play. If the person play without break, if the person doesnt sleep,doesnt eat. That can cause the death. But I dont think you can die if you play like over 7 hour in a day. When I played with my main at rs, I could play like 8 hours per day, and im not dead... |

The article is bull ****, I read it all. If you want a good, perharps one of the best MMORPGs ever made play WoW. If you don't feel like wasting that much cash on a game and still want to have life go with RS. I picked WoW and couldn't being happier, of course people still stay that it is a waste of time and cash, but I still could say that it would be one of the best games I ever played. Just the commnity itself in WoW seems to be much more mature and enjoyable, you don't have 10 year olds going around asking for free stuff, you don't have that much idiots, you don't have scammers, you can easily trust a stranger with all your cash, there is not that much hacking. It's just my point of view which perharps will differ from others. |

That cant even happened, I played DoD for 52 hours straight and sometimes 12 hours, and nothing happened to me, this is *******. |

You can do anything you want for over 8 hours straight during daylight, but if you don't sleep at night you could die. If you don't sleep for over 5 days, you'll die. If you don't sleep for over 5 days you die! Staying up without sleep for 52 hours won't do a thing! It'll only make you tired and crabby. |

^ that happened on an episode of CSI Miami where this guy was playing a FPS game for a whole week non stop, drank tons of Arizona or something and peed into a bottle and just died. body just couldn't take the no sleep. funeral in a game isn't that new, remember old nite? but we were all talk no walk. |

This is a really old story, first of all. As people said above, different people get addicted to different things. Most people die of a heart attack from lack of sleep. Sitting in itself for long hours is bad enough for your body. It shouldn't be too much to ask of people to go to sleep or take time off. |
