Well, if some of you can remember back a while there was a big buzz going around about a game that i created along with my brother and my cousin. It was called duelquest. And alot of people thaught that we violated copyright laws. But the only images we used where from Runehq, and the rest where either made by me, or from the game Well of souls. Yes i know the game looked cheesy, but thats what happens when you use Well of souls editor to create a game. But as far as i'm conserned me and my old programming crew made alot of games in our time. But i have created apps and games and media players and lots of stuff. I was the lead designer for duelquest, and i play runescape too. The game looked and felt different then runescape. And there where no keyloggers, because first of all i used well of souls editing engine. And second of all, keyloggers are for fat guys that have nothing better to do but to steal noobs accounts. But since some group of addalecents spammed duelquests forum, i lost interest in computer programming, eventhough that is an option for my future career. Right now, i'm posting this because i was looking around on one of my old machines and i found the scripts used for duelquest, then i remembered the following thread: about14756-0-asc-0.html I'm doing skateboarding and BMX now so i wont be making any more games for a couple years. Anyone have any comments for me and my little brother?? BTW, look up Darklasersoftware & MWGSsoftware on google. you will find some of our projects we did in the past. |

My brother states out a lot. He says the most important thing that you other people think is copied. This game was made from the WELL OF SOULS engine. He did get ideas from runescape but nothing was copied . If we tried to compete with runescape we'd make a whole better game (duh). This game did have skins from Final Fantasy. This game barley had anything to do with runescape. The idea was kind of like runescape but there was no copyright. All and all the people that posted weren't using they're brain. Well that's super. It's so cool to know you both have nothing better to do than to look around random websites for mentions about your games/yourselves in topics that are over a year old. 
I don't see the point in making this thread, i doubt hugely if anyone remembers or cares, sorry but that's the cold hard truth. |
