Post subject:  New Employment

Well, like the title says, i'm now employed for the first time in my life. I applied for Carr's Safeway at first, then I applied for Toys R Us. Toys R Us called me first so I went in for the interview and got the job. I'm getting minimum wage, Alaska standards ($7.50 per hour) but thats enough for the things I want to buy, mainly:

Nintendo Wii and a Laptop.

Sooo yeah! I start this weekend :P

Good luck with that, I probably won't seek employment unless I can get at least $15NZ/h. Otherwise it is a total waste of time.

You'd probably spend all your extra money on jackets and hot chocolate.

Lol, thats a stereotype. It's been in the 20's and 30's (Farenheit). That's pretty warm for the middle of December. The snow melts during the day.

I've been working in WHSmith, a british bookstore chain, for around 3 months now. I get £5.01 / hour (around $9.50)

Im saving up at the moment for a 20" iMac. Some time after i've bought that i'll probably also get Adobe Creative Studio.

How is it a stereotype? That's nature. 20's and 30's are pretty cold... That's the coldest it gets here in Canada.
