School people suck. I was walking with a few friends, when we atop, and I overhear a conversations between some girls...
"Oh my God, I missed The OC last night!"
and "Oh my god, I just loooove her hair and blah blah blah blah blah"

Is this what we have resorted to? Finding how much we deprive ourselves on feeling, and try to make up for it by watching The OC?

Personally, I don't care one bit about some disfuntional rich people in California who are obsessed with how they look and only "love" people based on hallow feelings.

Like it or not, I can't stand these people. It's time we wake up and become human.

I don't participate in sports,
I don't like competition in general...
Do whatever you can, and if you can't...

Move on to something you're good at

So whenever my friends tell me how they're
trying to compete with me/one of their friends,
I only shake my head.

But more so on topic,
I do believe one should carry a certain image.
Mine can be defined somewhat as...

"Don't even try...you'll fall anyway"

Now, I'm not attempting to boost my ego (pfft, ego...me?)
I’m simply stating that a person should wear their personality
in an outward fashion. So these people are merely being honest...

And showing they’re superficial airheads who are
influenced by the current fads shown in magazines
and televison, who's true idea of beuaty is completly off

The only things I find good on TV are as follows:

Hostory Channel
Conan Obrian / Jay Leno
House
24
The local news. (National news is too biased left/right)
The Weather Channel.

And because some people like losing themselves in a drama and you like losing yourself in 24, that means they suck and you don't?

You might as well not read books.

Errmm ok... No need to start a "who's right" flame war .

I don't go off on a wild tangent if something happens on 24. What seperates 24 from OC, is that 24 actually had effort put into it.

Yes and the OC doesn't have commited actors and scripts and a team?

The OC doesn't get viewers?

TV shows are about the ratings, not your oppinion, if it gets viewers there is nothing wrong with it.

"Didi Tv is tv were real" Rugrats Phil and Lil's mom Place in the sun episode Yea what happenes on tv isn't gonna end your life. If The main character of the OC Dies would life actually stop? I agree with pika in this way. However if ratings are good and it's recomended like American Idol was to me. I'd watch it but I don't go crazy like when Fantasa won. All I said was "She won like I wanted... Snack time!" However no house with a Tv should be without the Weather Channel!
