Anyone here play any music video games? Whether you play them at home or favorite arcade, it still counts. For those of you who don't know the definition of music video game, it's explained below. Quoted from Wikipedia. "A music video game, also commonly known as a music game, rhythm action game, or rhythm game, is a type of video game where the gameplay is oriented almost entirely around the player's ability to follow a musical beat and stay with the rhythm of the game's soundtrack. Since the game play for this type of game is largely aural rather than visual, this type of game is similar to audio games. However, music games generally require a visual component as well." |

Ever tried Frets on Fire? It's the computer version and I just started playing it afew days ago when a bandmate of mine told me to try it. You can use your guitar hero controller with Frets on Fire too. Another thing I like about Frets on Fire is you get to pick up the computer keyboard and stand up playing it. (Don't stand for too long doing that or you'll get a sore arm like I did.) |

Gitaroo Man is my all time favorite, so hard to get a copy because so few were released outside of Japan, though. |
