Hold-Up...

Post subject:  Hold-Up...
I work at a convenience store since around two weeks, and around 3 hours ago, Today, a robber came and ''Hold-Up''ed all the cash etc.

That was really scary... He said he'd kill me and my colleague if we called the police... :(

When he ran away i called the police and my colleague locked the doors...
Then the police arrived etc. and I had to explain everything that had happened.

He stole around 400$ and some cig's.

I'm really nervous now... I don't know what I should do.. I'm only working since 2 weeks and I don't know if I should quit.

I know what you guys might think, but THIS IS NOT A JOKE.

I'm really confused and nervous... it's 23:23 and I don't even feel like sleeping.

What should I do? I don't want to look like someone who quits a job after only two weeks... ****.

Btw, I doubt that guy would come back.. would he?

Man that is so scary. I say quit.

Would you rather quit your job or lose your life? I mean, who am I gonna play Rs with?

Hopefully the cops catch him and lock him up, so then you don't have to quit. But you should really consider finding another job.

Don't mean to be rude by aking lots of questions, but did he have a weapon or anything, cuz I would litteraly crap my pants if I was held up by gun point.

I feel sorry for you...

Learn martial arts, and do like 500 kicks a week, and in some time you would be able to kick anyone gun out of their hand before they even winked thats what I did to some thieve round my neighborhood, kick there gun/knife out and then strangle them...I do that all the time, Yes I know Karate,TKD,Judo well some of judo.

Edit: And you say knife, If i was you Id break all his bones with a flash!.

Congradulations, you took your first step to becoming an experienced convenience store worker..

Theres one person who works at the gas station across the street from me who got robbed 5 times, shes been working there forever. I wouldn't quit, I mean if you think you can find one that will get robbed less often, which is unlikely depending on where you live, then whatever..

Btw, next time don't give him the money lol, he won't shoot trust me. :wink:

My boss was glad nothing happened to us.

I guess i'll just continue working on the convenience store... Unless my mother really doesn't want me to.

I'll let you guys express yourselves for a couple days then I'll ask mods to lock this thread.

Take a martial arts class. Period. I, personally, take a kung fu class. Nothing like it for stopping potential attackers. 8) I also say, quit. You're probably making a terrible amount of cash, and what's the use if you're just gonna get robbed? I say take some kind of martial art, then if that guy comes back, use a throw, get him out of the store, and quit your job. If he doesn't come back, still quit and look for a better job, like Starbucks.

Wow, sorry to hear that man!
Dude quite, people hold up stores all the time ( well, in US they do lol )
Get a nice job at a grocierie store, r a crafts store. Hell, McDonalds is better, if you wont get shot!
Hope you can finda better job, TTU on MSN tonight.
God school stinks...
