When a star goes BOOM! (supernova), the hydrogen gets happy inside, and decides to fuse with ohter hydrogens, which creats new heavier elements (nucleosynthesis). These elements are the ones we are made of, are around us, everything we see. Now, since there is less hydrogen, there is less stars. So, as time progresses, could there be sooooo much nucleosynthesis, which could result in a shortage of hydrogen so vast, that no stars could ever form? |
