Post subject:  Attention! (World Of Warcraft) Read please!
Soon is my b-day and I'm so happy. I always wished to have World Of Warcraft. Dad tells me that one day we'll go to buy it for my b-day. I am very excited!
That day has come, today I'll hold the CD and install it! I buy it for 2.209.000 lei (lei=romanian cash, and 2mil lei is much but not much). I crush the box and take the 5 CDs. Install it and be soooo excited!
It's installed, yay! Now I can choose between "Play World Of Warcraft" or "Create an World Of Warcraft account". So I choose the second one "create".
It opens a new window (on internet). I read the terms and conditions, writte the authorization key, writte my name, my date of birth, etc.. Okay now I feel that I'll make the account..
W00t?! It asks for what credit I use! Okay.. I choose the one and then it asks for my credit number, and it shows "12 euro each month". What ?! First I buy the game for 2mil 209thousands lei and now I need to pay 12 euro for each month!
I was like crying! And I still am :P .. Then daddy comes and says its ok. That tomorrow he'll buy me something else. I told him I don't deserve anything.. 'Cause my bro showed me that it was written on the box (that ill have to pay 12 euro a month).
So look, I'm just sayin' so that u wont do the same mistake I did..

It's a MMORPG...you have to pay..uh..i thought everyone knew that. Well if your looking for a free mmorpg that doesn't charge you every month then guild wars is a good game.

Well, I heard about Guild Wars.. I really wanna buy it.. But where are they selling it ? In Romania I didn't see any of those..

Being English i wouldn't know if it's being sold over there. :P If you can't find it in shops im sure you can order it online..that's if you really want it.

That stinks it didn't work out for you, but at least your dad seems nice :D . My friends have world of warcraft and like it a lot, and I've played it some, it was a pretty fun game, but what can I say, I'm hooked on runescape

Warcrafts are pretty expensive, and I don't like them. I prefer to buy the normal Medieval games....Age of Empires 3...Stronghold

Yeah, well, I keep it for now, I guess I'll try to save up 12 euro and try it out 1 month... :P

Trust me World of Warcraft is worth EVERY penny. Do NOT get guild wars, the level cap is only 20 and they don't plain to raise it. The fights can go on forever and don't get exciting at all. The PVP sucks and my friend got bored of it in a day. Subscribe to World of Warcraft, dont even give it a second thought. I have World of Warcraft but I can't play it because the only computer that can run it is fried :cry: So I'm playing runescape until i get the computer fixed

Just get Guild Wars it is a good online RPG and after you get it for $50 you dont have to pay a fee every month!

Something similar to that happened to me once, City of Heroes was all hyped up to be coming out and I was so excited about getting it and I pre-order it like 3 months ahead of time.... Then I finnaly get it after 3 months of waiting so excited I install start to play and find out my graphics card isn't good enough and that I can't get the right one because my parents won't pay $500 for the right card. :cry:
