Here are the **** brilliant lyrics:

(Yeah, Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ah-Ark)
Oo-ooh-ooh, hoo yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah-ah-ah
Yeah, yeah, yeah

[Rebecca Black - Verse 1]

7am, waking up in the morning
Gotta be fresh, gotta go downstairs
Gotta have my bowl, gotta have cereal
Seein’ everything, the time is goin’
Tickin’ on and on, everybody’s rushin’
Gotta get down to the bus stop
Gotta catch my bus, I see my friends (My friends)

Kickin’ in the front seat
Sittin’ in the back seat
Gotta make my mind up
Which seat can I take?

It’s Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin’ down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin’ forward to the weekend

[Rebecca Black - Verse 2]

7:45, we’re drivin’ on the highway
Cruisin’ so fast, I want time to fly
Fun, fun, think about fun
You know what it is
I got this, you got this
My friend is by my right
I got this, you got this
Now you know it

Kickin’ in the front seat
Sittin’ in the back seat
Gotta make my mind up
Which seat can I take?

[Chorus]

It’s Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday

Gettin’ down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin’ forward to the weekend

[Bridge]

Yesterday was Thursday, Thursday
Today i-is Friday, Friday (Partyin’)
We-we-we so excited
We so excited
We gonna have a ball today

Tomorrow is Saturday
And Sunday comes after...wards
I don’t want this weekend to end

[Rap Verse]

R-B, Rebecca Black
So chillin’ in the front seat (In the front seat)
In the back seat (In the back seat)
I’m drivin’, cruisin’ (Yeah, yeah)
Fast lanes, switchin’ lanes
Wit’ a car up on my side (Woo!)
(C’mon) Passin’ by is a school bus in front of me
Makes tick tock, tick tock, wanna scream
Check my time, it’s Friday, it’s a weekend
We gonna have fun, c’mon, c’mon, y’all

[Chorus]

It’s Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin’ down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin’ forward to the weekend

It’s Friday, Friday
Gotta get down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend, weekend
Friday, Friday
Gettin’ down on Friday
Everybody’s lookin’ forward to the weekend

Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Partyin’, partyin’ (Yeah)
Fun, fun, fun, fun
Lookin’ forward to the weekend

Ew. Not this chick. I spent a few minutes of my Saturday flaming her. Didn't waste my time watching more than 2 seconds of her video.

I can't tell if it's another lame addition to the "this is why pop music is terrible" list, or if it's actually a cleverly disguised parody of actual pop music. I mean, it even has the stereotypical rapper showing up 2/3 of the way through the song.

Nevertheless, the way that she said "Friday" makes me, a peace loving Canadian, want to go strangle something.

Cleverly disguised? The only attempt to disguise this is they took a blanket and wrote "INVISIBILITY CLOAK" in big letters on it and threw it over the song. I really don't see how it can not be a parody lmao, unless they were like "don't even need to make songs about anything to make lots of money so why bother even putting a little effort on the lyrics"... Then again the way she sings it sounds like they had just bought the song for her and put her into the recording studio and put it in front of her for the first time and she is just reading it and they are like "PERFECT WE'LL JUST PUT SOME EFFECTS ON THE VOCALS"

But I don't think she's actually established so it can't be the last 2 of those 3 options LOL

She says Friday like its Fried Eggs.

Who made the video?

The answer is Ark Music Factory, a Los Angeles-based company operating as an industry hybrid of Maurice Starr and John Bennett Ramsey. Their casting calls are perfect bait for starry-eyed parents: “If you are a great singer without any material and you want to get discovered,” one reads, “then Ark Music Factory is looking for you.”

The formula is simple: They’ll fly your child between the specified ages of 13-17 to Los Angeles, write her a “hit,” record it in super-compressed Autotuned production, shoot an edge detection-overlay video and BAM! Maybe your kid can notch up a couple thousand YouTube views while you watch your dreams of being a pop-star parent percolate.

Lol kulla.. I saw this post on my desktop and was like aww no sound.. Thought I'd listen to it later on my iPod and I looked down at you comment and thought aww she's cute. Kulla must be on crack or something because that pretty girl must have a great singing voice.

Well now on my iPod.... *listens to video*......

*goes out into town to find someone to strangle to get the song out of head*

It's getting so popular because it's so bad, which is one thing I don't really like because she doesn't deserve the fame at all, even if it is fame of being horrible.

Actually, that's a great idea! Not the crack, that's a terrible idea.

Never mind, that's not a good idea either; listening to the video without sound is still barely humane. :(

It's also proof that autotuning and overproduction doesn't make your voice sound good, it just makes it sound worse

lol i meant i listened and watched the video on my iPod..

read that link a little until i got down to where they say "auto-tuned cadence" -.- No singer should have to have that much auto-tuning to try to sound good.

I mean, i don't mind a little auto-tuning because i believe everyone does it just a bit at least in a song or two; but wow this girl is like Ke$ha on auto-tuning steroids!

Well, a good example of that would be this chick: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xHfRUW99aI

To me, she has a much more bearable voice than any of the others, especially FRIED EGGS FRIED EGGS, but they had to ruin the actual good qualities of the song by autotuning the hell out of her. Plus she's cuter as well :3

We have to realize that the demographic for this type of music (if you can call it that) is not the average 14-25 year old boy demographic that is the most prevalent on this forum, but rather a 5-20 girl demographic. Maybe that's why we're not too big on this kind of thing? Not trying to stereotype though, I've talked to a few girls that have absolutely hated FRIED EGGS and any other songs of the type.

I think it's hilarious that most of Ark Music Factory's songs actually fit the stereotypical pop song, as Jon Lajoie sung about. I'm not normally a fan of his stuff, but it's mostly spot on. Plus he's Canadian, so that's cool too.

As with any Jon Lajoie song, it has language and vulgarity, so don't click if you're a prude, easily offended, or too young to make an objective opinion: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ijr4rwb2WbE

When I was first watching it I thought it was some famous pop star that i'd never heard of lol. Maybe not completely parody, but I dunno how no one in the song process or even the writer didn't even stop and think "these are really bad lyrics" XD But regardless they were probably like "..should we even bother with these lyrics" and then "yahh who cares every popular song has terrible lyrics duh".

My comment on the video:
My curiosity and convenient placement of a thread on a message board led me to 3:48 of torture. Oh well... gotta get down on fried eggs, fried eggs...
Then I noticed my comment was pending approval and comment ratings were disabled.
Darn, I thought that was killer :P. Credit (because I like to give it out) to IceBlackDragon for the fried eggs post, that's going to be a staple of daily life for me for a while here :P.

Yea kulla. Those weren't as bad. And I don't think that girl woulda been too bad without the autotuning.
