I'm quite excited for this, hopefully I can go as long as my exams aren't on then.

Any thoughts?

Yeeeah I'm really excited, really chuffed they're doing 2 Manchester dates since the 4th November one is the same night as Linkin Park.

I'll be going to see them 27th October, providing I get tickets. Keep an eye out in October/November on the informer for my review :D

Who's the official new drummer for A7X, or is there one?

They've gotten Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater to drum for their new album, and to go with them on tour for the next little while - but it's not going to be permanent. DT is going to start recording their new album soon, and A7X will have to find a permanent replacement shortly.

That said, I'd encourage everyone to go to the UK shows, Portnoy's a great drummer, and A7X always put on good live performances.

Edit: They've released a lyric video for one of their new songs, check it out.

Yeah I'd definitely agree about Portnoy being a great drummer, I think he's the only person who could half match the Rev, but still things will never be the same without the Rev, his singing made songs unique and he had a very unique playstyle which, for me, is quite obviously missing on the new song they've posted (the one KK linked to). Still I'm pleased to confirm my attendance of the Manchester gig, it's gonna be a good night and hopefully it'll be just as good a show as it would have been with the Rev. Who knows M.Shadows could break down before then and call off all live shows, but I think they're stronger than that and want to do this to close the book on Avenged Sevenfold.

That'a brilliant. Nightmare was alright but nothing that really struck me. But that ones got me. Great song.

They've posted the music video for "Nightmare". They did a very good job with it, and then ending was very bittersweet.

Once they give us a link that doesn't block countries outside of the US, I'll post it here.
