I need music when I wake up. It's almost like coffee to me and if I don't get my music, I get snappy at everyone. Usually I'll put on some Muse or Dream Theater and it'll ease me into the conscious world more easily. I can't have anything too rough, but anything too soft will make me want to fall back asleep again. So tell me what music helps you wake up! |

My computer turns itself on at 7:30 in the morning provided I leave it in standby overnight, plays music on shuffle from this playlist and then turns itself off after 30 minutes. ![]() ![]() |

Wow, Chief. I'm starting to wish my computer was in my bedroom. That sounds like an awesome setup. Knights of Cydonia is such a bad *** song. Is Anberlin a good band? I've only ever heard about them once on the radio and I thought the person was saying "Anne Boleyn". |

It would be great if my computer's fans weren't so noisy. ![]() Anberlin is a great band. I never thought of their name that way before but that's a good point XD. Cities and Never Take Friendship Personal are my favourite albums, before New Surrender, the newest one. I guess you can see favourite songs from that playlist. ![]() |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UsUdC-pqiqo There you go. Yeah I joke. Tho setting that off full blast at 4am would be a rather funny thing to do. Think about it. Ho hum wake up songs lets see.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298Cw3_qGwE .... ....LOLOLOLOL. Again; 4AM full blast = very funny. Think on it. Tbh that might be a good option if i heard that in the morning I'd laugh. Laughing is good for waking up. Ok ok ok.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9d97xtadgNg Hows that. Bit mellow tho you might go back to sleep. Or these: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0ZAGNW8ShE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gISImZ6xkbY - This song is cool now cause it's not sung by a complete and utter ****. Dance out of bed! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ZUKwKWmEdY - bit of an iffy one that. Prog rock. Not much to it lyrical just some real interesting instruments real upbeat stuff. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRVrQsdWDds http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fWkojiANdkw Take your pick! I like it when people make topics like this. It gives me an excuse to root through old songs/bands long forgotten. Oh almost forgot this one too for sure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgvM7av1o1Q LOLOLOLOLOLOL 4AM RIGHT |

Usually a good and loud buzzer does the trick for me. I dont know, if you wanted some music, maybe buy something that you hate so you dont get relaxed. |

Ummm I don't really know what music wakes me up, but the song "Good Morning" by Kanye West wakes me up whenever I hear it. |

Usually if I feel especially groggy, a shower always wakes me up the best, provided I have time. I don't really have specific music that I wake up to; normally I'll just flick through my iPod and choose something. ![]() |

For some reason whenever I'm tired I have to listen to hall of the mountain king, which makes absolutely no sense because I barley ever listen to any classical music |
