Favorite video game music

When I'm playing rS I usually play random songs from youtube

But when I am playing xbox I usually listen to pandora www.pandora.com it is an app for your iphone and it helps me focus on whatever game I am playing

Jet Set Radio Future's music was odd, yet good. I also like most of the music in Nintendo games.

Haha, Diddy Kong Racing was pretty much the sweetest game ever. I played that so dang much when I was just a little 'un.

For music though, I'd have to say Donkey Kong 64 was legit.

I also get quite a few of my songs from the Gran Turismo games, the Tony Hawk games (THPS3 until THAW) and the EA NHL series, though these are just compilations, not composed for the game.

I'd like to add the soundtracks from HL2, TF2 and some of the later Sonic games. Crush 40 is a cool band and they suit the Sonic genre very well.

I'd also like to add the Total War games soundtracks. Their ambient music for the campaigns is unmatched, and the tense music for the battles is amazing.

My second choice would be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The Temple of Time and The Spirit Temple are definatly my favorites.

I like any Zelda music, my favorite is from Twilight Princess, and Ocarina of Time. Some of the more recent RuneScape music sounds good too. This includes Above the City, Wending Through The Willows, Valerio's Song, Royal Rumble, Supreme Champions, Dune, and many more.

Touhou music is at the top of my list. The Assassin's Creed soundtrack is great too. Oh and Portal 2 definitely.

I've got last two. Since I'm no longer a gamer, I don't come across any half decent VGM's anymore, and I only share stuff that I actually love and feel deserves to be shared with others. I know the seasonal vibes for these 2 is over, more of a summer thing, but can close my eyes and pretend it's not freezing cold out.

If I ran my own country (with an iron fist of course) I would have these two played constantly in loops over street speakers.

Love the ocean vibe sound, anyone know if the sound/genre has a certain name?

Well... maybe I just miss the simpler times.
But they had a killer theme song.

Lol. There's a game I forgot I used to play daily. I do miss chill mobile games like that.

Tropico 4 has an awesome soundtrack. I could listen to that thing on loop the entire time I played. Something about Caribbean jams that just makes things more exciting and fun.

I suggest listening to all the tracks, but #5 is particularly my favorite. $\:D/$
