The Castle Wars arena has opened south of Ardougne!

Saradomin and Zamorak have taken an interest and are urging their chosen teams towards victory. Who will you choose to fight for? Or will you follow the way of Guthix and help keep the balance?

Castle Wars is a combat based team game. A single game lasts 20 minutes. The Zamorakians and the Saradominists try to infiltrate each others castles, capture each others standards and take them back through enemy lines to their own base and claim a victory point for their chosen deity.

Speak to Lanthus in the Castle Wars waiting area for more information on how to play. Buy a manual off him for more information about the features and tactics you can use whilst playing.

There are no requirements to join in (apart from being a RuneScape Member), just turn up and join a side!

Additionally, the Ring of Duelling now has a new teleport option so players have to do less walking to get to the Castle Wars area.

The rewards are total crap but I dont think thats the point of playing da game... It's awesome tho And from some confidential source I found out how (supposedly) to become some sort of animal (like sheep or imp) while playing da game Gotta check that out

You are just an animal in the waiting room while you are waiting for the game to start if you go in the guthix portal. I guess its pretty fun cause you can die as many times as you want without loosing anything, and just run back and kill people, but there is just way too many people and its not that fun with that many.

I was told to be animal: Wear Unholy symbol into Sara portal Wear holy symbol into Zamorak portal Wear ? into Guthix portal

nah, its like if you wield a god staff or book into the opposite portal, you turn into imp, bunny or sheep.. For example, you take a sara staff into the zammy portal.. u turn into one of those animals... The guthix portal puts u on the team with the least amount of people.

I myself think they did this, because of the people who don't want to risk losing stuff in the wild. It makes a perfect situation for everyone to run around killing eachother.

lol i think its class, the way they made capture the flag shks tho, cause you got to have your flag aswell, people who play capture the flag on consoles like myself and a friend think its ratherbs
