When it comes to great weapons and armour there is plenty of choice in RuneScape. In fact there are so many different items it’s sometimes hard to keep track of them all. This is why we are introducing the pre-purchase advice tool. Before you buy anything – from a shop, at the Grand Exchange, or from another player – you can now check out what the bonuses of the item are, and, in the case of worn items, whether there are any restrictions that might prevent you from wearing them. You can use this tool to find out what skills you need to train, and what quests you need to complete, to use a particular item.

Those of you who are in possession of a dragon platebody will see that it has undergone a graphical overhaul, as requested by you on the forums.

Next, we have made a change to the equipped inventory screen for Ranged weapons, so now you can see the ranged strength of weapons like javelins, arrows and crossbow bolts.

The fourth upgrade for this week will save you valuable seconds in times of need. The Prayer button near the minimap has undergone an overhaul so you can now set a prayer, or group of prayers, before you go into action, and activate or de-activate it with one click. The button will also indicate the loss of Prayer points by gradually fading out – similar to the behaviour of the Hitpoints button. This should help prevent you accidentally running out of Prayer points, and finding yourself suddenly vulnerable to attack.

As you may know, we recently made some changes to the Culinaromancer’s chest in Lumbridge and the gnome cuisine fruit ‘n’ veg shop in the Grand Tree. We have now reconsidered these changes, and have decided to implement a different approach: we have returned the shops’ stock prices to their former state, and have removed the option to sell stock back to those shops.

Finally, we’ve taken on board the feedback you gave us about last month’s quest list improvement, and made changes in response to some common issues. New text makes it clear when not all quests are shown, but the best improvements are behind the scenes: the options you set before you log out will be there again when you return, and we have greatly reduced the delay involved in switching the list between quests and achievements.

Well there are some bugs with this update. Now 3 prayers that used to be P2p, are now not giving the message "you must be on a member's server to use this prayer". And the redemption prayer is lit up for people that cant use it. And for me, I have the level, and it is lit up but I cant use it.

I will give this update a 4/5. The new prayers are great and the D Plate updates are okay but not a big fan of the pre-purchase advice thing. Noobs should figure the stats out themselves. I am just hoping the D Plate rises a lot even though they barely made it look any different.

im 4/5 as well new prayer is good and i guess the pre purchase thing could prevent a few occasional mishaps, but they're nothing really impressive though.

I love the update. The dragon plate looks great now, and also, i've made about 550k from it so far. I hope it keeps rising :D

These are good updates, good to see them finally implemented. I'm a little confused about the fruit 'n' veg shop though, I'm really not sure what they changed.
