Runescape.com wrote: Resizable Game Window We have introduced a new and optional way of viewing RuneScape HD: a resizable game window. This feature is available to both free players and members. The new feature will adjust your RuneScape HD game window to fit the size of your browser. So, if you expand or maximise your browser, your game window will expand too, filling all of the available space. If you reduce the size of your browser, your game window will reduce with it. This feature is completely optional. You may activate or deactivate it via the Graphics Options, either on the login screen or in-game (accessed via the spanner icon). The resizable game window is only available for RuneScape HD. It is not available for the RuneScape version of the game. How does this differ from fullscreen? The main difference is that fullscreen will completely fill your screen. It will do so if your browser is minimised, maximised or anywhere inbetween. The resizable feature allows you to view the RuneScape game at whatever size you want - just reduce or increase the size of your browser and the game window will follow. When playing RuneScape HD using the resizable game window, your interfaces will be arranged in the manner as fullscreen mode. This means that your tabs will be arranged across the bottom of the game screen. Unlike fullscreen, the resizable game window is available to both free players and members. Note: If you have a slow computer and you make the resizable window very large, you may find the game slows down a bit. If this happens, just make the window a bit smaller or, if you prefer, turn it off using the Graphics Options menu. Finally ![]() |

I like it. F2P can also get full screen mode if they make their browser full screen. The only difference between that and members full screen is the advertisement. But I don't think I'll play full screen like that, because I usually switch tabs a lot. |

I didn't know there was a version of RuneScape other than RuneScape o.O. Typo? I think they meant that it is not available for the low detail version of RuneScape. I don't see that this update is really that helpful. If someone can use the HD version then wouldn't they rather use the actual Full Screen option? The only difference between the two is that using a browser's Full Screen option allows you to multi-task. I give it a 3/5. |

I can't say much more than Shane ... finally. Enjoying the full screen interface in a windowed mode while being able to easily access everything else I'm doing. 5/5 |

1/5... I don't like the wide window because the tabs are weird. |

I love this update, especially how the window will resize with your browser. 5/5 |

It's a good update but i won't use it because I find the interface is too difficult to get used to. Fair enough I don't give it much of a chaance but I prefer the classic one. :] |

Yes...practically a full screen for multitasking. And while I'm f2p I can get used to the full screen layout. |

I don't like how the focus is automatically set to the game screen when you changed back to the window now. When I'm in another window and I'm trying to get back to the RS Screen, it used to just switch to the window, but not to the applet. But now, if I click to go back to the window, it will be like I clicked it normally, and I will run to whatever square I happened to mouse over. Or add who's ever message i clicked on in the chat box to my friends list (and that is only with a single click -_-). It's very annoying. They probably did this to stop how you click on the window and then backspace out, a simple confirmation would of satisfied me more.. |
