Stuck on a different plane, parallel to the Wilderness, itself a long walk from any RuneScape city or town, one family has gone a long time without even seeing a human being. That doesn't mean they don't need your help, however, as the time has come to leave the homestead and move to pastures new.

This magical story calls for you to befriend a loving family, find some essentials for their journey and reunite the daughter with some misplaced possessions. You'll be able to explore a previously unexplored realm and even take a glimpse into the imagination of a little girl.

Needless to say, some hurdles will need overcoming if you and the family are to reach the destination and claim your reward. Some family members are less than communicative with outsiders and their only neighbour is understandably unhappy about them leaving. It shouldn't be a problem for an adventurer with your experience...right?

Summary

Where to start Spirit of Summer:

Seek out the young girl outside of the ruins, east of Bounty Hunter and north of Varrock.

Requirements to complete Spirit of Summer:

Level 40 Construction
Level 26 Farming
Level 35 Prayer
Level 19 Summoning
The Restless Ghost
Ability to survive in the Wilderness

Access to:

A new realm for you to explore
New areas for Combat and Woodcutting

Seems lowish level but it's in the wilderness .. I can't tell whether there was more danger getting killed by pkers in the old days or revs these days.

Pkers were more dangerous obviously. A level 100+ pker (equivalent to an Ork) could hit 30-40 with the Whip alone, not to mention the Dragon Dagger.

Pkers also ran, revenants just hover slowly towards you. They're easy to escape.

It was a decent quest, i'm giving it a 4/5.

Anyone else think that spirit beast looks like a rev tz-tok-jad?

Good points, I guess revs are more annoyance than threat compared to pkers. Hopefully they don't pose a real problem during the quest :|

I was thinking that. It's also a higher level than Jad too.

not even close to teh jad really more like a huge ghostly wolf/dog beast.

now if it had huge horms on it's back and shoulders then maybe a spirit form of the jad just a lil bigger lvl wise, and more docile.

the quest it'self was a bit confusing deciphering the jumble of missing words and such but otherwise wasn't to difficult. at least first day was plenty of peeps out doing it to pile revs as they appeared with little hassle.

4/5, quite an easy quest but I hate to wait for the limps to grow.

I haven't done the quest but i watch Alex 43 go through the whole thing and it is really done well, 5/5 for the new quest, not i need to get 99 defence to do it so i can get 54 summoning, 112 combat and 55 farming and then get the "hidden" items that go along with the quest.
