Today we've added a new feature to the website - the Jagex Shop!

Since the shop is very new, it is only available to UK customers for now. If that's successful we are planning on expanding the Shop to cover the US and other countries next.

The first items available in the shop are RuneScape Ringtones and Wallpapers for mobile phones to impress your friends! We're also planning on adding new items for sale on a regular basis.

So if you live in the UK and would like some music or pictures from the game on your mobile phone, visit the Shop now, and liven up your phone. The downloads are reasonably priced and don't require you to subscribe to a service or enter any personal details. You don't even need a credit-card.

Note: We hope to expand the shop quickly, but don't have exact dates planned for new countries/items. We will post further news on the RuneScape main page as soon as we know more - so there is no need to ask Customer Support

Holy hell! My Runescape cards bring all the geeks to the yard And they're like, do you wanna trade cards **** right, I wanna trade cards But I won't trade for your sharks Pfft. Jagex = sellout? (Does gaming companies even get labelled as sellout?)

Ohh dear, Jagex takes being sad to the next level. This is just..not right. Do they seriously think people are going to buy Ringtones and Wallpapers from an ONLINE GAME for their phones?? Please ..if my friends came to school with that stuff on their phones id slap them one over the head -.-

Doesn't Jagex get enough money out of Runescape as it is? I mean, how many members are there out there? Take that number and times it by 5$... That's a helluvalotacash to me. Still, RINGTONES?!@#$% What, you want to have the Troll Stronghold song on your phone or something...?

some of the tones in the game are quite good but then i wouldn't download it. a buck a tone. BTW i was looking around the shop and i saw that wall paper were worth 50p...soo i'm going to assume the P stands for pounds but then why are ringtones in the euro symbol? or am i just being arrogant ?

As far as I know p stands for pence, its like the british version of cents. So then it seems the Ringtones are more than the Wallpapers.

p is for pence, 50 pounds for a wallpaper would be a little O.T.T, 1 Dollar is about 60 pence, so that gives americans a perspective.

What's next? A CD soundtrack featuring all your favorite travelin' tunes? "Runescape's Greatist Hits!" 1. Tutorial Island 2. Lumbridge Swamp 3. Varrock 4. Al-Kharid 5. Draynor Village Etc., etc. And yeah, you get the idea.
