Post subject:  Abyssal Demon Whip Drop
How often do u get an abyssal whip drops from demon?? I get Maul and Rune Boots at an average of 200 kills. (but some trips can turn up zip)

Maul comes from gargoyles and rune boots from nechryals. My friend has 85 slayer and gets 3-6 abby whips a day..

The average most 85 Slayer's do is a whip a day. After that, they move on to the next item on the agenda. To get ther 3-6 a day, you would literally be JUST killing those all day, and thats no fun.

Mauls are also dropped by the Nech's. This is why he included both in the statement.

agreed, it is not fun, but it is worth it,, 30mil-60mil made a day.

Thats very good for your friend. I would like to know how long he spends there a day to get 3 to 6 whips.

Dam man and 30 to 60 M a day, thats crazy!

3-6 whips a day... doubt it... im 85 slayer, and i usually get 0-2 a day i didnt get one for 3 days straight awhile back

lol then your bad luck.. his first day he got 2, second day he got at least 3, his 3rd day i know he got 5.. after that i dunno how much he gets daily. and yes i've seen all the whips. He does not lie and all that junk. He is a very very close friend of mine..lvl 122 combat he is.

The drops are always random based. Someone could have been at abyssal demons, and go a full load without getting a whip. Someone could come up and within 2 kills get a whip. There are times where ihave gone to steel drags and 6kills later i get dragon legs.

Then there were times i would kill 200 steel drags and i wouldnt get anything good at all.

Agreed. I was at gargoyle yesterday with another guy. I got 3 mauls, 2 rune full helm and 2 addy boots ( about 3 hrs of continuous slaying). He got only a lvl 3 clue. Maybe, the trick is to stay on continuous which I could with my Full Guthan. The other guy need to take food break.
