 Post subject: Jagex, please do not change the Archaeology XP rates...

I know that a lot of Jmods are active on this subreddit so that's why I fear that they're gonna listen to the minority that wants to make it just like any other skill in this game.

Archaeology is very unique and you guys absolutely nailed it IMO. Don't ruin it by tweaking the XP rates because of a few people that don't understand how MMORPGs work and that you have to invest a lot of time into it.

If you're actually thinking about changing something, at least ask for the opinion from the average Joe by making a poll in-game and not on any social media platform.

This isn't a subreddit it's a fan site, also I am not aware of any Jmods who visit this place. But with that being said I do agree with you, lots of people are complaining that it's "too slow" but compared to how skills used to be back in the day it's fast as hell lol. I prefer having to grind for several weeks for 99/120 rather than being able to get it in 2 days. Plus it's nice having an actual race for 99/120/200m unlike Invention where the first 99 was already achieved in half a day.

I disagree with you all. The fact it's slower than Runecrafting makes me not want to train it at all. It's not enjoyable for me.
At least tweak the XP from Excavating
Doesn't have to be overkilled like Jagex is known for , but it can still be better while maintains the grind factor.

Did you buy materials along the way? I am level 74 and just counted I have over 100 damaged artifacts in the bank because I don't have enough materials. I don't plan on buying any, but imagine it would make the journey much faster!
