Hello everybody, With the controversial release of Legacy Mode looming over our heads within the next few hours, I ask you to answer this question: which version of Runescape do you enjoy playing more than the others (if any)? Feel free to say why if you want. I, for one, really enjoy playing Old School, as it is (or was) a snapshot from around when I started playing. Now, however, I feel that it is getting too many updates, including original content.. Which makes zero sense; what kind of a flash back has stuff that has never been around? Ah, I digress. Please, feel free to vote/discuss which version you like the most! |

I prefer to play RuneScape 3 now; I briefly played Old School, but I want to leave my memories of what RuneScape was how they are. It's a new game, it's time for more new memories! |

While I dislike many things in RS3, it is the only one I can really play consistently. Classic is nice to go back and see how things were, but it's not for me. OSRS is... I don't even know how to describe it. It is certainly NOT the 'Old Days' that I loved. Is is some amalgamation of ideas and broken promises. And you might want to add/alter the RS3 option to be EOC on one and Legacy on the other. Which somewhat surprisingly, I'll likely stick with EOC. |

RS3, but I'm not altogether set on the changes that came in today. Tried Legacy but will give it a miss unless it's clear it has a distinct advantage when doing soemthing. |

Alright, the poll has been updated to split Runescape 3 into two options: EOC and Legacy. As for OSRS, the first 6 months were great, but since then.. It's not really what it was supposed to be. |

EOC is better. revolution is better than legacy in my opinion. i can still afk train and just spam 6/7 for the threshold. |

Personally, I just wish Runescape wouldn't have changed so much back in the day. But it is what it is now. Can't say I prefer one play mode over the other, so I'll just stick to EoC. |

Far and away, EOC for me. Tried legacy and didn't see any advantage over revolution. Leave the past in the past, I say. Runescape before EOC was fun, but with the new bosses and other advancements in the game, I truly feel EOC whether full manual for bosses, or revolution for slaying etc is the way to go. I do hope those that wanted legacy do enjoy it and that it will appease all the naysayers. Whichever version you prefer, just have fun with it

There is at least 1 to many modes for this game right now. I think that with legacy out that old school may die off faster than the current rate. I prefer eoc but i am very happy with the small crossovers with combat level and special attacks now available to use. It adds a new dynamic to runescape that wasn't in EoC. I am also glad that legacy can still access the same chat systems that old school has been left out of. This was my biggest gripe with the release of old school. |

When the game changed I rolled with the punches and adapted. I don't play full EoC, and instead use revolution. (Also, Classic is the true old school to me). |

EoC with Revolution is definitely my favorite and best preferred way of playing Runescape. Old School is probably my second favorite but I don't play it that much. The addition of Legacy Mode makes things too confusing in my opinion and I can't navigate the old interface anymore after getting so used to the RS3 interface. I was like most people and wasn't happy with EoC at first but now I'd say I quite enjoy it. |
