What are some of the things you guys flip and why?

I was flipping raw tuna for a while, but that profit yield has decreased for me. I've dabbled with earth talismans, but that took a while. Oak logs seems to yield good results. I started out going out to each store that had feathers that I could go to. I would then sell them on the ge for at least 30gp profit. In less than a week I already have 1mill from flipping logs and fish and the occasional rune.

Bows, dragonhides, herbs - but you need a decent amount of capital to make it worth bothering with.

herbs into potions can be decent money depending on the price difference. Especially if you have the dungeoneering rewards for extra herbs, that's just icing on the cake.

I have gone from having a few thousand GP to having 1.1m in about a week with oak logs and a few other flips. I am currently F2P and I don't intend on going members until I have all the free quests done. Making money seems a lot easier now than it was a few years ago before I took a long hiatus.

Well, pretty much anything is flippable. Just depends on the margin. With bulk items, you're looking at 1-2 gp each. Logs are good. Other consumables like ores, bars, essence, etc. Haven't done it in a while. But, there is plenty to flip. F2P will limit your flipping options and profitability, but that's just how it goes in F2P.

Yeah. My brother has played for a lot longer than I have and he told me how he flips. I just use his method and I don't generally flip anything that has less than a 5 gp margin. It's slow profit, but I am making about 20-30k for every flip I do.

Also used to do Tele Tabs at one point, but that was really smallish numbers.

And some of the more expensive armour, but that I found sometimes wouldn't work well and I'd need to keep hold of it until it raised prices again.

I don't flip on the G.E. in the truest sense (buying low off of the G.E. and then selling higher). I do as you tried, sell materials on the G.E. that you can buy from the various shops for a cheaper price than what it will sell for on the G.E. That includes feathers, air and fire runes, chocolate bars (better if you grind into chocolate dust first before selling), spice, pie dishes, flour, jugs of water, rope.... oh the list goes on and on. If you look around you can find the shops that sell the most quantity of these items and then make your 'rounds' to become an RS distributor like me. I've made 1 mil profit in about 90 min of running around buying stuff then reselling on the G.E. You can only do that about once per day though, having to wait for the suppliers to restock their stores. It does work well. Try any store or NPC that sells stuff and see what you like for a profit margin. Some things may really surprise you. Have you seen what people will pay on the G.E. for a Baguette or a Triangle Sandwich from the Sandwich Lady in the Ardy market? Crazy!
