Ok, I'm doing Horror From The Deep... I killed the baby easy, but I can't kill the mother!! I've tried bringing all my runes... blasting it...

I went at it with a Dragon Dagger [P] but I couldn't poison it either...

As I just too weak??

EDIT: sig is screwed, my combat is lvl 65, & ignore the range, I do MELEE

There is a key for the color change.

Here it is:
Light brown means you can melee.
Green means you can range.
Red means you can use fire spells.
Dark brown means you can use earth spells.
Blue means you can use water spells.
White means you can use air spells.

I just meleed it and used some magic spells when i was positive which 1 i should use.

i was lv 83 when i did that quest..... that thing used all my prayer a a hundred or so death runes, and half an inventory of lobsters. certainly a decent monster. that could be your problem.

I had 8 prayer pots, 8 swordfish, and i had monk robes on and all i used was 2 prayer pots and all 8 swordfish.

Yea pray pots make the quest easier but do not fight it with monk robes on! She still owns you even if u have prayer on!

It also has a weak range attack, but with only monk robes maybe it causes a lotta damage...

yea its a sneaky thing for sure, use protect from melee and it slides right into a range attack, when i fought it i used .... meh that one prayer that increases your attack by the most.
