Yes, saps and leeches have been reworked too and they most definitely do what they are supposed to now.
according to rants its going to be a turmoil version and when you unlock piety in a quest you will unlock rigour and augury too! also according to this mod on the forums when you read it all anyone who has purchased rigour and or augury will get a token refund!
