Thoughts: I really did see this coming. In one way or another SoF would be used as a money gain for Jagex. Knowing that Jagex is going in the direction they are going, I bought 75 spins to try it out. And behold, the only good thing out of it was the xp. This is where the problems come in. Assuming this equalled to modern RWT money for gold, I have paid roughly 17gp/xp which is very expensive. I do not recommend buying spins unless it is for lucky items. There are very wealthy people in this world that use most of their time on Runescape. Knowing this they will pay countless amount of cash to have full spirit shield sets, bandos, arma, etc... And I find this extremely unfair. This is exactly what Jagex was apparently trying to prevent: RWT. Pay money, get loot. Pay no money, get something on a blue moon. The rest of the update includes receiving extra spins as monster drops and rewards from D&D. I find this a fantastic idea and fully support it. In my opinion, purchasing spins is unacceptable and unfair. I really do hope Jagex takes this content out. Cont... |

I pretty much bought them for the same reason. I had a giftcard that would have sat in my account doing nothing, so I used it to test out the Squeal of RWT. After that, everyone (including my clannies) made me feel like ******* Hitler. I don't see anyone unsubbing Omar. If I am such a '******* Sellout', then why defend him?! |

Once again paying members money is being put towards content* that charges extra on top. Like it or not this provides an advantage to those willing to pay. Old Jagex was very much against microtransactions. Wonder what changed. ![]() * I use the word content loosely i don't actually think pulling a lever and getting free exp/items for doing **** all is content i think it's a cheap, pathetic way of keeping idiots subscribed to my crappy failing game. All this update does now is make it a cheap, pathetic worthless cash grab instead. edit: I also find it very funny there spending so much time adding to this update...at the end of the day it's click this for free stuff and they've hyped it up and treated it like it's the greatest update ever. I mean it might be the best update this year cause there updates are **** but still when you think about what it is? It's just a cheap way to keep you playing without having to put in any real effort on an update. |

Just be careful with the SoF. Hackers can use the Max ($200) and slowly force you into debt. I am curious, how many times have you got pegged, Lipuro? |
