By using all of my lamp on mining I have gained 136,229 xp in that skill.
Thoughts:
I really did see this coming. In one way or another SoF would be used as a money gain for Jagex. Knowing that Jagex is going in the direction they are going, I bought 75 spins to try it out. And behold, the only good thing out of it was the xp. This is where the problems come in. Assuming this equalled to modern RWT money for gold, I have paid roughly 17gp/xp which is very expensive. I do not recommend buying spins unless it is for lucky items. There are very wealthy people in this world that use most of their time on Runescape. Knowing this they will pay countless amount of cash to have full spirit shield sets, bandos, arma, etc... And I find this extremely unfair. This is exactly what Jagex was apparently trying to prevent: RWT. Pay money, get loot. Pay no money, get something on a blue moon. The rest of the update includes receiving extra spins as monster drops and rewards from D&D. I find this a fantastic idea and fully support it.
