September Skill of the Month + Stealing Creation = Win

I must say that I have to thank the "Stealing Creation Gods" for half of my fletching XP. It helped out allot that I had plenty of points saved up in stealing creation to use towards fletching knives. Mostly I fletched yew long bows and ended up making a tidy little profit.

I also made some nice friends along the way playing more stealing creation for yet more fletching knives. I came across a great "safe" stealing creation clan where most of the time you can complete a game in 10 minutes, which is half the time of the normal "pking" stealing creation games. The clan chat is called "1elitesc", and the games are usually operated around the clock in world 70.

I started out the month with no intention of accumulating massive fletching xp, but it just kept adding up and somewhere along the way I decided to try and hit exactly 20mill fletch xp. To avoid the boredom, I was multitasking while fletching by either watching videos, checking my rss feeds and listening to podcasts, including the infamous RSBandB podcast

So, thank you 1elitesc and stealing creation for making my fletching xp add up much faster.

SC is just so boring for me, i'd really rather just grind away without the SC knives.

Yes, SC can be boring, especially if you play traditional SC, where sometimes your lucky to get any points at all because of all the people insisting on pking. Safe SC however isn't as bad, because everyone is working together to clear the entire area of clay and finish the game quick. A typical game can be over in 10 minutes (since when all the clay is gone, the game ends), verse's 20 minutes for a traditional game.

So, for just one 10 minute game, you can easily accumulate enough points to earn one sacred clay tool, which, in the case of a sacred clay knife, is good for 46K bonus xp, well worth the 10 minute effort I think.

I used stealing creation to help me with my 99's in construction and smithing. It really help cut down the costs involved, although back then I didn't know about SC safe games, so it took me longer to accumulate points.

Stealing Creation can be fun in short bursts. Well worth doing for the hammers for smithing and construction at the very least to keep costs down. I've never tested the efficiency of the knives yet because fletching is already pretty cheap and I haven't really trained it seriously for 5 years, but I can see the advantage when going for a big amount of XP in a short amount of time like SKOTM if you already had the points. :P

World 99 "fast sc" is another decent non-combat SC group, but their games aren't usually down to 10 minutes. In my file, I've got them at an average of 14 minutes a game including the waiting time for initiating the next game. Works out to 4.9 tools an hour with usually getting 23 points a game. I'll have to try 1elitesc.
