So after a fair few hours of forum posting and account recovery issues, i got my first account, Thedraken back.



Needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised.
Other than the slayer level of course, but I think I can let that one slide.

Changed name, security questions, pass and email. Any other hints as to how i can secure my ownership once more?

Tried logging in about an hour ago, and found that I couldn't. So went through recovery questions again doing what I did last time and it wasn't enough. So the account's gone again, and Jagex won't let me recover it it seems. I'll keep trying though >.<

Yup, all is good at the moment, just waiting for recovs to change and so forth to make my account SUPERsecure.


Lost it again, this is getting silly now but i was, apparently according to my brothers, only a few hours too late. **** exams >.> The account got locked at some point in the past 24 hours and he got online a few hours ago. But I'll get it back >:-D

Wait, so you recovered an account that had been trained up that high? Or where you high level when you were hacked? Either way, congratulations. The log in name is still the same though, so if the hacker that took it knows your old login name, then the name change is not an effective security measure.

When I lost the account it didn't have any 99 skills but i was close to a few, certainly not in runecrafting though lol. :)

**** dude, I remember seeing that account walking around Al Kharid when it got hacked, and I took a screenshot for you o.O

That was ages ago O_o it's kinda cool that i got my account back with all these skills but at the same time it's kind of weird that someone's used it for so long...

Last log in time was August 2nd, 2011. And over 650 days ago on RSC. IP address indicates south west london, or at least the RSC one was. I didn't check the RS2 details cause i was quite happy to just be able to log on y'know?

If my information is correct, I now know exactly where my account was accessed from. About 1 hour 15 minutes from my house. The guy has latticed windows and appears to live in a somewhat 'well-off' area. Well, asides from living next door to a petrol station.

Idk. I would personally give up on my account if it was like that. I mean, he basically played the game for you. All those 99's...jeeze. Wonder what your bank is gonna look like. GG on getting it back, though. Have fun! :P

Maybe Jagex are being ***** and decided since they didn't let you recover it originally, he's had it for so long that it's rightfully his. "Hacking is okay as long as you get away with it for number of years and make the account yours."

I don't know whether to laugh or feel bad. Probably feel bad. That's just crap. Sometimes I have to wonder just who is working at Jagex and what they are thinking when they decide things.
