i got muted! for a day! because i was doing the underground pass quest and kinda cussing jagex out because of it, i know that somebody reported me for it, and i would really like to know who, because it was in the bitsbytes chat...

well the reason i believe someone from this chat reported me is because i was talking kinda to myself through public chat and to you guys through freinds chat and that was it

So I know it wasn't me, but sadly no one will probably admit who did it. Unless Jagex implemented something new in game that mutes if you curse and say Jagex in the same sentence?

hahaha that would be funny, but, offensive language? why is that still reportable? if you take off the censor and someone curses, you shouldnt report them, if you dont take off the censor and someone curses, then you cant see it, so either way, it shouldnt be a reportable offense, the only way i see it justifiably reportable is racial slurs, or discrimination of any kind :/

Dang, that blows. People need to grow a tougher skin. Bad language is about the lamest thing to be reported for in game and punished for as well. Pathetic Jagex. And this is why we need to kick out all the kiddies and make it an adult only game. It would be worth it to swear a blue streak. :P

Seriously, though. I'd watch cussing in game. You never know who is listening or who will report you for it. Better just to rage in real life then in typing. Or just don't rage at all. It is just a game after all.

Unless you were purposely censor evading. There's a censor and you can disable it so why people evade it is beyond me. And when there is a censor I don't get why people self censor or even self censor like one or two or three letters of the word... jeez, yeah, that makes it a lot better, I dunno what could possibly fill in those asterisks.

F**k can be Fork.
S**t can be Salt.
B***h can be Beach.

Plenty of different letters can fill in those blanks. :D

SHUT THE FORK UP YOU PEICE OF SALT SON OF A BEACH.... yeah, I don't think so l0l. A grain of salt was born from a beach who must silence a talking fork. It's just really annoying when they take the time to censor a couple of letters as if it's not evading. It's evading the censor if there is one and it doesn't stop people from seeing profanity if there isn't one so what annoys me is there is like absolutely no point to do it XD

For your case, I hope he was evading lol. Total **** move if it was all censored. The mas is not a way to get popular; although, if you just wait it out a few years you won't be remembered as the guy who took it upon himself to get people muted in clan chat.
Tip: You report infractions by RSBANDB members in the RSBANDB clan chat to the events crew or chat moderator (preferably one that is active), not Jagex. People have been banned from the chat before for reporting non-serious rule breakings to Jagex and not the mods. Won't happen to you but I'm just saying it's happened before.
(If you edited "jk" into the message because of that, someone was reporting anyone in the clan chat for anything in protest to get modded, like a year later they actually get clan chat mod powers so it's not like I'd worry about it)

yeah, i wasnt evading the filter, i had the filter off, and also, what is a swear word? what makes **** worse than crap? just think about it...but whoever it was, just please l2grow some balls and take it (no offense to you, priss) ;)

I only feel that people should b reported for this when it's directly aimed at another player. The part that bothers me is the fact that jagex couldn't go through the macroing reports, and instead set their priority to someone angry with the game...
