I was wondering how everyone felt about the whole katana and dwarven war axe for bying membership? I also wonder how everyone would feel about selling gp? I'm not saying that I would agree with it... I'm just wondering how u guys would feel. All I have to say, is that if jagex was to do that, there should definitely b a month limit. |

I don't think Jagex would do it, but if they did, I would be ashamed to call myself a 'scaper. |

We pay to have access to extra stuff in the game. I don't see anything wrong with it. But I don't agree with buying gold. Everyone has the same advantage at getting the same content with just been a member. But when it comes to how much gold u can "buy", it becomes unfair. Not everyone can drop hundreds of dollars (or more) on a game. Also, it would hurt the economy greatly. More than it is already. |

I agree with both of u... I'm fine with extra items.. As long as u can't trade them... No money buying tho |

it's funny how many of their own rules they break after the past 10 years or so. |

I'd quit immediately. One thing is that they don't ban any rwt'ers or close down Smokin Mils etc, clans that openly talk about rwt'ing on their forum - they even have commercial banners all over youtube advertising it. But Jagex actively doing so would take the last bit of enjoyment I feel about the game away. |

I think if they're going to offer special items it should be "if you are a member or were a member, you get this special item" not "regardless of your membership status, there is this special item you can get that will give some players an advantage over others, but not all, but you have to buy a membership card, and this membership card must be 3 months at a marked up price, and can only be bought from this specific retailer to get the item". And micro-transactions are stupid if you already have a membership fee. And that loytalty benefits program thingy with the auras and stuff, they made new content for the purpose of bringing new members in. Rather than using membership money (small portion albeit) to make new content for members. Not that I care, I'm content with paying membership for just the stuff that already exists in runescape. As for selling gold, whatever. Just another way for other people to get way richer than me which doesn't really matter because all the ways of superfast money are areas which aren't for me anyways XD |

Ya... I agree, it should only apply to people who are truly loyal, not suddenly loyal to get a few extra perks. |

Free trade would be good ir you nuked al the bots. Mabye people who have not talked in 30 mins or have traded large amounts of gp for nothing at all would get a random to stop the bots because there is no telling what random they would get and therefore cannot program the bots to combat the random. |

It'll happen on some form or another. Look at the wonderful changes they've brought to the game lately. There producing fewer updates now than in the entire history of RS2. The quality, as far as I'm concerned has dropped despite them having longer to develop updates. There content is no longer directed at me it's purely based around clans and combat. If i want combat I can pick any number of MMO's that do it better the thing that made RS rather unique was the fact it had so many different type of skills. They've all effectively been **** on over the years and left as rather useless gimmicks rather than something useful. I'm very lucky if i get some ******* mini game that isn't fun to play or a crap quest. The only update I've seen lately of being worthwhile to a skiller was the capes and if you've seen any of the milestone capes you'd know there garbage to look at and Jagex couldn't even be ***** to give them animations. They've got these items that they give to new members. I had heard walmart had an exclusive item if you bought a sub card from them. Awesome. That's where my money is going eh? Then this aura BS I've been a member on and off for 5+ years yet i can't actually get an aura cause I'm not currently a member and I have to gather points or some ****? Is this correct? Utter *******. Don't give me this crap about loyalty program if 5+ years isn't loyal then i don't know what is. It's purely a ploy to keep me as a member even if i feel burned out so i don't lose my stuff. The games now a mess. The direction of the game has changed. It's turned into a **** slapping contest of who can hit the biggest number or who has the best armour. None of which matter cause the weapons and armour in RS are garbage with retarded limitations like degrading all because of jagexs lack of vision for this game and there **** ******* forward thinking. So now there stuck in a never ending cycle of releasing bigger and badder weapons and armour to please the mindless call of duty players who need more cause they have to hide the fact they have tiny tiny penises. |

Lol what do you mean by random? A random event? Unless you mean a new random event each time... which is like.. how would that be done. XD Because random events don't stop botting or bots. They just make it less simple to create a bot. It's not like bots can't go through the random events, and it's not like they have to know that it's coming and which one is coming to do it. |

They should be able to come up with a random event that no bot could be programmed to complete.... something dynamic that requires some thinking, not just clicking. |
