As an avid user of mouse keys when I was on Windows, I grew accustomed to fast dropping of inventories, and perhaps the best usage of mouse keys in my eyes, fletching bolts.

However, since the changeover to Mac, I haven't been able to use Mouse Keys very extensively, due to the noticeable lack of a "hop" feature (on Windows, this is invoked by pressing the Ctrl button while a key on your num pad).

Example usage:

Withdraw 5 items in one tick (press ++5, then hop up etc.): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ITHBR2H7Hg&feature=related
Making bolts (5, hop up, +, hop down, + [only do five the first time]): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7pkEFXrDmU
You can also use them to relieve strain when teleporting for magic, or alching.

So, does anyone use them?
Also, does anyone know of a nice (legal) mouse keys emulator for macs, or a way I can make my machine do the hop (I habe a Macbook Pro, 10.6.4)?

I use MouseKeys for alching all the time, much better and faster

Yeah I alch with them too.

Except I plug my wired Xbox controller to make it even easier :3

I've tried to get into them, but I dont really understand them.

Mostly I do combat related things, and i'm fine just using my mouse.
Maye if i do 95-99 magic someday ill use the 5 key with alching or stunning, but not untill than

Unlike Doglvr, I've never tried to get into them and I'm just fine using my touchpad and/or mouse. I don't think they're for me, but helping to relieve stress sure is an added bonus of using them ;).

Mousekeys are amazing for dropping things, and so work well with granite and barbarian fishing. Other than alching, I can't think of a whole lot of other uses for them. They are very helpful if you can get the settings right.

I 've only used mousekeys for alching. It really helps save some strain on your wrists from all that clicking, especially for me since I use a mouse and number keypad all day at work, lol. SInce I started using a windows 7 netbook, I haven't been using mousekeys, I simply use the left click button on my thumbpad.

I haven''t even considered other uses for mousekeys till now. Perhaps it would be handy with such things as thieving the safe's at rouges den, since you can position the cursor directly over the safe and leave it there. Or thieving the master farmer, if you can get him trapped for awile.

I tried to use mousekeys and found that I just couldn't quite understand them enough to make it faster or easier, although I make use of clicking with the number pad.

how did you configure rs to accept the controller?

i like mousekeys, but it makes the bottom toolbar of my computer freeze and freak out, so i dont use them much. Also i could never get the hop just right =\
