Godly Powers?

Sup dudes...

Have you ever wondered if the prayer skill should also allow the player to be able to use "Godly" powers? For example, mabye at level 35n you can summon a fist of godly flames, that keep on dameging the opponent, and mabye drain 1 prayer point. You could make prayer a combat skill, so you can be offensive, rather than defensive, besides the str, atk, magic, and ranged prayers.

Na, I get what your saying. But instead of it being magic, it goes under prayer. It's an interesting concept. Maybe if you had a certain piece of gear, you can use certain prayers. Or if like you say your level is high, you can use certain prayers. Sounds like it could work, don't know how it would be implemented.

I don't think that would work, like killjoy said they already have magic, and they kind of would be the same thing.

With magic, you need runes. Also, this "Godly Power" would be an all out atack. Not something you can use reapetedly like mage. They could use it to balemce the combat triangle, like a special atack for mage.

sounds good. doubt jagex would do it though. lol, prayer is one of the most boring skills ever and one of the most expensive. one of the last skills i train haha.

You would have to include coolout times and heavy limiting on the power it would have. If it drained points it would be too easy to use the Falador Shield specials or simply redose to quickly use specials again.

Bad idea, IMO. As previously said, it's too much like magic, and prayer already is a combat skill
