Post subject:  What in Runescape Attracts you?
Hi All

I'm Jeki and I'm kind of a new member on the Rsbandb Forums, so I decided that I would make my first forum post :)

I wanted to talk about what Attracts me to Runescape.

I basically started playing about 5 years ago and since then I've had dozens and dozens of different accoutns trying new things. In the past Runescape just seemed like a thing I could pass time with. But recently (2008) I started to actually understand how to play it and have been playing (on and off) ever since. What I find enjoyable about it is the community and clan chats. I also enjoy skills like: Mining (94), Woodcutting (99) & occasionally some combat stats. At the moment I'm not really into training skills that require constant attention because I'm busy with school e.t.c.

Anywayz my question to you is What attracts to Runescape? :P

First and foremost, Welcome to RSBandB! :D

I really like the aspect of skilling and finding the most efficient way to train skills. Also I like going for things that a lot of people don't go for. Hence my Smithing(99), Runecrafting (99), Construction (99), and soon to be 99 Mining. I like working with money too, so I guess that would be the business/economics side of it. I'm usually always on the computer so it's definitely a hobby for me. And I like seeing how my skills rank up against my friends and fellow forum members. I'm not a huge fan of combat, but I'll take all the total levels I can get! :wink:

I said everything but grinding. Main one is the community though. Not everyone of course, but if you look hard enough there are some really, really nice people out there :D

Picked everything but the community. Skilling and Grinding are kinda the same. Of all them, Hobby probably fits best. I just like how it's an easy simple game that I can play anytime and do a few things. It's a nice decent hobby game.

Runescape is like heroin. It's addicting.
Always ask myself " why do I play this? "
Pretty much to pass some spare time and because my friends play.

Skilling. For the most part, the only thing that keeps me logging in is my goal of 99 fishing which I occasionally remember about. That and plus it's a very good multitask game.

I'm surprised there's people that picked community. Let me laugh for a second.

*ahrem*
The thing that is attractive in this game is Durability.
You can nolife 10 hours+ a day for 7 weeks for 100k XP/day for a total of around 5 milion experience.
Yet that is only for ONE skill, there is like 25. And 5 million experience out of 200.

Yet, that is only for skills. There is earning items,armors,etc along too. Quests too.

The thing that attracted me, and probably attracts tons of people, is the fact that it seems never ending.

Competing (mostly in agility at the moment, hence my 60m agility xp) with the top players in experience gains and the simple fun of beating people who concider themselves unbeatable.

I chose community because of some of the really nice people but some are total jerks, it's also fun to skill and level up. It's like an accomplishment
