What motivates you?

Post subject:  What motivates you?
Im just wondering what motivates you to play runescape and complete your goals?

For me i just get pleasure out of playing the game. But I also find when i get a goal i play a lot more so i can work to achieve it.

I agree, I never really have a motivator. It used to be imagining what it would be like to have that cape of accomplishment. However now, I just play at my leisure, so it doesn't bother me that I don't play often.

Nothing really motivates me about it, unless I'm really close to leveling or feeling int he mood for grinding out some levels. I could give a much more detailed answer, but that would be too boring and depressing. :D

Very much the same with me, friends tend to set goals, and I try to follow them every step of the way. But, other than friends, it's just nice to be able to say "I'm rank *x* in something that *y* players have done."

Chat with friends or doing things with them such as the skill. I try not to look at xp till the next lvl.

When i was on my way to 99 mining i looked at the smaller goes along the way, but sadly i stopped at 96.

What motivated me was the escapism, and the ability to achieve tangible goals. Problem now is that I just don't care about my Runescape character anymore. I have no motivation because I'm apathetic.

If I wasn't apart of rsbandb I wouldn't be playing this ******* game. :lol:
But really, rsbandb had kept me attached and it is really the only reason I play.
