Just a cool little stat for you before I go to bed. Firemakeing is often considered of the "Easy 3" to get... yet.. Just because people don't have a 99 in Firemaking doesn't mean it's not easy. Could mean people think it's easy and therefore don't want to do it. Or they considered it no worthwhile since Firemaking doesn't do much for you, esp. at 99. Stats could be skewed any way you want them to be skewed, but if anything, I would say this doesn't prove it's not an easy skill, just one that isn't desired.

Any skills easy these days if your boring enough to merchant long enough to raise the money to buy your way to 99. |

It is very easy but it is also boring. Fletching and cooking is like lol w/e click once every minute. |

Yeah, agree with the above. Thieving is another interesting one which is very easy as long as you have access to Pyramid Plunder, and you don't even spend any money. I've never understood why more people didn't have 99 in that. Requires a fair bit of concentration and clicking, but many other skills do too. |

I find Firemaking difficult, It requires 100% concentration |

Well, if concentration defines easiness, then Firemaking might grab win in difficulty due to clickage. Otherwise, it's not hard to train, esp. if you can purchase all the materials. |

As other people above have stated, it IS easy, it's just boring and not very useful. The one good use I found that got me to 99 firemaking was burning Fiyr shades from the Shades of Mort'ton mini-game. I made a ton of money in the process as well. |

Its not Hard ether Well it is harder then level 99 Fletching and level 99 Cooking, but thats really it. the reason not alot of people have 99 Firemaking is because heres an example: the point of... Cooking: so you don't burn food/shark as much, and to make different kinds of foods. to heal your self with. Defense: so you dont get hit as much. and so you can ware more kinds of armor. Attack: so you can hit enemy's more often, with out missing, and so you can ware more kinds of weapons. Strength: so you can hit higher. Constitution: so you can take more pain, before falling over dead. Prayer: so your pray lasts longer and so you can use different kinds of prays. Magic: to unlock more spells, and to hit higher with magic, and to be able ware more magic stuff. Range: to be able to hit higher with range, and so you can ware more range stuff. Fishing: so you can fish faster and catch different kinds of fish. for food. so you can heal your self. and for money. Fletching: so you can make more kinds of arrows for the range skill. and for money. Woodcutting: so you can use more types of axes, and so you can cut down more trees, and to cut down trees faster, for money. and wood is used for alot of things. Slayer: so you are able to kill more different kinds of monsters, for charms, for combat level ups, and for money. Smithing: so you can make more kinds of armor, to ware or just for money. Mining: so you can mine more kinds of ores, to mine faster, for smithing, and for money Runecrafting: to be able to craft more different kinds of runes, to get more runes from essence, for the magic skill, and for money. Firemaking: so you can burn things......... so you can burn more kinds of things? because...? see Firemaking has no point. |

Well, you just gave it a point...burning things. Not to get into semantics, but burning is what Firemaking is all about. So it does have a point, just not a useful one. Most all the other skills have a much more useful purpose than Firemaking. Not sure which one would be less purposeful than Firemaking, but you could argue that if you aren't ever going to use a skill after getting a 99, what's the point of getting a 99 anyway except to "look cool?" |

ah yes firemaking, the times ive had to lvl it up to 50 just to do desert treasure... granted in RL i'm a pyro so i like burning things they just need to make it a more useful skill, like flaming weapons that do a damage like posioning but just for a few seconds. etc. make it useful and you will see the 99's go alot higher |

firemake is just a bunch of clicking I guess to some its hard to others it varies. |
