Hey, I have made this thread and BTW it has been a long while since i have been on rsbandb website. Have you noticed how many premium hackers there are these days? I mean yeah jagex have done way better from the start about autoing noobs, but face it nowadays they are making a comeback and they have autoes like red chin hunting and yak killers ETC, i have probably reported over 200]# people who i believed to be autoing while i were at these locations. I think jagex need to up their game.

The war against macroers is a losing one on Jagex's side.

However, one glorious time in the war, there existed a group of brave brutal soldiers called the Anti-Macroer Club. I wonder whatever happened to them.

Anyways, there will always be macroers, because people will always program them differently and better.

I don't really notice it that much.

But i remember you could mess with auto flax pickers, the program is set to pick the color green on the flax. People used to walk in with green fremminick robes and the autoers would follow them.

I have to agree. Though I haven't noticed it as when I was cutting yews with 20 generic lvl 3 accounts around me, it still exists. All Jagex can hope to do is find it and stop it wherever they can catch it. Otherwise, like hummer said, people will always make macros and try to dodge the system. And if people still want to macro bad enough, they will find a way to do despite Jagex's best efforts. :?

I have seen it also. I have no idea why people macro. It takes all of the fun out of the game. I remember when my friend quit he said I could have his account. His account was much higher than mine, but I had way more fun playing my original account rather than his.

Well, I think that there should be some sort of system or program that automatically detects accounts that are either "suspect" or ones that are level 3 and have a particular skill that is really high, and have the default character skin on. Or instead, all accounts should pass through the system. All jagex would have to do is enter the pre-requisites for your account being banned into the program and wait. Even though you may not neccesarily be hacking, the program may still have a look at it just to be on the safe side.

Or they could always send the "5-0" to you house. Imagine that :o.

Cheers, dafin0

Funny that you mention yaks, because I've been there the past couple days and some other players and I suspect someone is botting there. He had a repeating path and like half HP. The sad thing about it was that he had an untrimmed mage cape on with fairly decent armor. Level 122, so I'm not sure why he's putting all that on the line..

I haven't noticed many autoers at all since the anti-macro update. Even if there are some out there, at least their numbers have vastly decreased since before the update.

Post subject:  Re: The Age of the Autoer

Well people take the littlest thing to assume someone is an autoer. Generally if they don't talk back, it's apparently a sure sign that they are a macroer. Not true, they could just think you are a moron. Auto things can talk back to people, too, so.. What I'm saying is to not just assume everyone is a macroer.

But even so, I don't think Jagex should try to crack down. They already ban people who aren't macroing, I don't think that should increase. Even if there are a few people macroing, rule abiding players should not have to be wrongfully banned (considering they have put in lots of time and money).

I don't understand the relevance of the premium hacker bit, though?
