Ok, so all of you know about the objective system Jagex put into Runescape. it rly awesome to use it to find how close u are to your goal. but i kinda realized something...could u track your goal almsot as easily using rsbandb's highscores for the individual skills for ppl on it? i know it couldnt be used by plp not aport of rsbandb or ppl not on our highscores, but Jagex could've looked into the same type system rather than jsut the one objective

I think it's fine other then 2 problems:
1) You can't see % to 99 from level 1.
2) You can't set xp goals.
Other then that, I don't think it really matters.

The only thing I like about it is the funny screen once you have 99 in all skills.

I think I saw a post on the official RS Forums that it said something like:

You have completed the game!

GO OUTSIDE!

I enjoy it although I like BandBs goal sigs better. I do like the random feature though cause I often ask, "what should I do now?" just hit the button and viola! I know what I should do

It was on rw as well, very good humour Jagex!

On topic:
Op's post confused me through the terrible English but I kind of understood that you want to know whether it's better to use the runescape system or rsbandb's goal sigs.
The runescape goal system is the quicker one and it updates constantly instead of rsbandb which updates once a day but you can't do xp goals and the runescape goals don't look as good as the rsbandb goal sigs.

i think its stupid

it tells me i should train rc coz its my lowest skill.

you wanna know why rc is my lowest skill?

coz i **** hate rc so stop telling me to train it jagex

**** this new system its so annoying omg

it doesnt even have exp objectives?????

and it calls you a nolife when u have maxed total

even tho ppl still go for 200m exp in each skill

when theyre already max total

coz its what they like to do

and then jagex just gives them the finger

tells them to go outside

that is just rude and if i were in their shoes

i will be very ashamed of myself

to offend the most loyal players

rude humor jagex. 1/2 of my objectives are quests which is lame.

You should be able to decide if you want to see quests/skills, that's what I think.

Yeah there should be an option for you to tick whether you want the skills or quests.

Well, if you can choose what it does and doesn't show, it's wouldn't be completely random, now would it?

I like the objective system but as stated above it could use some work such as adding xp goals or starting from level one.

Here's the picture you guys are referring to (Thanks reventon):

I have some ideas for ways they could improve it:

- Better tracking for quests, it would surely be possible for them put a paraphrased version of the current step you're at as displayed in the quest log.
- Allow XP goals.
- Allow goals for gathering certain numbers of items (as our goal sigs do).
- Allow for tracking of achievement diaries with number of steps in diary complete out of total number of steps.
- Allow for tracking of certain number of/value of kills in PvP.
- Possibly some sort of tracking for minigame goals as well.

Considering the very many things there are to do in Runescape, what they've provided tracking for is rather limited.
