I am tired of noobs reporting me for stupid reasons and geting muted.
for example
I just got muted for 24 hours because I said " f2p players are annyoing"
(guess I shouldnt have said it in a f2p world)

Also on my main Jade Gizmo
I got him perm muted after I called a level 7 dark wizard a "black wizard"
which a noob in f2p thought I was being racist
and it cause me to be perm muted.

Im tired of stupid f2p noobs reporting everything for stupid reasons and how jagex
would even mute me for this

Why venture into F2P in the first place?

yea there are lots of f2p noobs out there. I try to not think of myself as one even though I am f2p. I can tell countless stories of members coming to grand exchange in f2p and noobs are all over them asking dumb questions.

Anything to increase chances of getting player mod. Too bad Jagex fuels it by punishing for ridiculous offenses and not punishing for ridiculous reports.

Lol I was banned for:
Quote:
nmr7: [clan] buy me green p hat
nmr7: [clan] i make u member

Because I was just so serious.
(later unbanned (although appeals denied within seconds of sending))

And then 3 day mute for:
Quote:
nmr7: [clan] wow almost passed the 9 line rule thing
nmr7: [clan] apparently you can get reported and muted if you do 9 in a row
nmr7: [clan] stupid rule, (can you tell i don't like Jagex much l0l)

Encouraging others to break rules

Unfortunately it seems the only way to not be reported is just to not talk. Or I suppose review everyline you type, interpret it in as many ways as you can, see if you can apply it to any rule, all before pressing enter. Although, I'm not about to do that.

which is:never go to f2p world unless its for a 99 party

But I find it extremely fun to go to f2p worlds =] You just need to be careful about the people you speak to in f2p worlds that's all.

Wow...

You've been reported for some pointless things, especially for calling a level-7 wizard a "Black Wizard", afterall isn't that what they are named in RuneScape? But yes, it is probably best putting your chat on friends while you are in F2P, hopefully that will stop some of the 'noob reports'.

It really makes my blood boil when noobs report for every little thing.. Kill a Spider "Reported for Bug abuse!" refuse to give 5k to someone "Reported for offensive language!"
:x It's one thing to report someone and ACTUALLY say they are reported than to just be silent and report when it's really needed.

youtube is WRONG here. Quality, not Quantity. (Yeah, try telling Wanna-be mods That.)

I have never been banned/muted or anything but I been reported by a few people for trying to sell ddp++'s for 50kea  back when there was a free market.

My Idea that I had back when the boots were a very bigg!!! problem. Make every player that has been playing for over a certain amount of time and has a certain overall level set. make their reports have a lot more power behind them then the noobs that will report for almost no reason [-X

I've been reported for alot of stupid reasons in F2P worlds, so now I don't even bother going in there anymore.

I've never been in that situation. If I were you, I would switch to members. Not too many people report in members unless they are new players. You can also go in Mike's clan chat and talk there. I always turn my public chat on "friends" or "hide". That way I dont get tempted to do something (mischievious) :) Spell check that someone?

Post subject:  Re: Noobs Reporting

Why can't you appeal against the one where you said "black wizard". Just say you didn't mean it that way and you might get your account back, if not, too bad...

I find it fun to be in f2p worlds, only bans I got was from scamming rune plates in f2p, and offensive language to them. =P
