farming is an awesome skill! for example, I've been able to farm ranarr for 3 days now... I do 3-4 runs a day, 'cept on saturdays when I do 6-8 herb runs, but anywayz in 3 days I've made a gross profit of over 1m and net profit of around 750k so for taking 10-15 minutes before you train to just go on a herb run, you could be making your gold colored pixels a whole lot happier |

Farming is pretty good way to make money and to waste money at the same time ;P. I only do it when a friend tells me exactly what to do lol, like Mli did today ![]() |

No, to be quite honest - the only reason you should get farming up is to grow snapdragon seeds. Anything after that is a complete waste of time and money. Snapdragon seeds come at level 62; anything that comes after that is a minor bonus. At a stretch, level 79 (where you can grow dwarfweed) would be where anyone who's interested in herblore should stop. I can't imagine many people would make their money back on plant they grow after level 79 so other than the green cape and lacking emote, there's not much point. Besides, if you want to waste that much money on a skill, why not just do construction? |

I would say it's a versatile skill, a change of pace from the others. |

I remember farming being very relaxing. It was a good way to explore the RS world |

If your Farming level is low and you don't like it much, I'd recommend you keep at it a little longer before giving up on it. I didn't enjoy the lower level either but once you get to the point where you can plant more interesting things, it'll grow on you. Get it?! Farming will "grow" on you. Do you get it? |

"10-15 minutes before you train." Unless your parents/situation allows only 15 minutes on rs a day, farming is quick, and profitable. I don't see how you would need a lot of time to farm |

I don't see how you would need a lot of time to farm True. Also if you do it right you can make all of your money back and profit while doing trees and fruit trees. If your level is below 70, why not? Easy levels to add to your total. I can say I've probably made upwards for 5M gp doing ranarrs. So there's really no loss either way you look at it ![]() Off to do a farming run now ![]() |
