I have noticed that recently there has been a lack of Chrissy cracker sales.
I was wondering if anyone knew why?

Because they recently dropped a lot and it's to be expected that they will drop a lot more.

The overlord (Jagex) reduces the price

Jagex lowered the price because no one was buying them. In which case no one will sell because they wont get much money. So Jagex is essentially killing it off as a "rare".

id just ignore it unless your trying to buy or sell one.

I think it's due to "it's not even worth buying" because ppl rather buy 2 party with 3rd age rather then cracker+3rd age.

Then either you or the person you pull it with gets a random Party Hat! It's a collectors item too, like a limited edition item 8)

When you open it with someone either you or your opening partner gets a partyhat.

They're rare now because most people opened them right off and very few were left unopened.

Yes, when pulled, one of the two pullers obtains a party hat. A variable in Runescape decides who obtains it.
