We were having a discussion about money in runescape whilst wcing and i got asked this question
Person: How much do you have cash/items?
Simple answer.
Me: 40m
Person2: omfg i hate nubs who go around bragging about how rich they are blaa blaa blaa.
Me: errmm okay. im glad you feel that way.

Probably thought you were baiting. Like level baiters who ask everyone's level when they know they probably have the highest. I'd guess most people don't have 40M.

Yeah, and I only wear dragon armour because I enjoy collecting it and I think it's "stylish" if you will. So guess how many times I've been called a rich nub. Well ... I'll wear what I want, and if they think it's showing off, they're the ones that bothered commenting on it :P

Well, I don't see why people should get upset: baiting or non-baiting. When you're cutting mages, if someone asks what your WC level is then does it really matter if they're higher? Unless you're 99, there's a possibility that someone might be above you in anything, so why ask if you don't wanna hear the answer.

Just my two pence. :D

Well i think if they have that much money or that level. they have worked hard to get it let them brag.
If they have had the time & patience to get it, although if they get out bragged bad luck for them.

They are only getting angry because they don't have the attention span to do something that is going to give them that money, I'm crafting 58k Runecrafting and making 13m so maybe I might brag to people that I have 13m, not sure.

Haha, I love that. What I like even more, though, is when they don't respond at all, but just log off when they realize they aren't higher in skill/money.

And you're right, it's not bragging if they ask :P
