I often get ppl messaging me why i use ranged to kill monster if its already 99 i find it anoying since they dont stop and come out whit arguments u got ur cape trimed u dont need to get hp to 99 and stuff like that. Ok i can take it but no one cares if some random 120+ melee kills stuff whit it and like has 70 ranged no one tells him to lvl ranged so why they bother me?
What i came out of this is that most of ppl think that ranged is only alternative and melee has to be main source of combat for any account. I never say melee using ppls that it is for noobs or stuff like that but i find it often told to me that ranged is for noobs and another stupid stuff just becouse i use it after 99 and that i choosed to be ranger . I guess its just stereotipes but its prety stupid.
Anyways let's take me as an example i am only 109 cmb whit 80 att and 80 str but i choosed not to lvl those skills just becouse i find that i dont need melee and i don't use it.I could easily get them to 99 in few months but i dont get why ppl have to bother me just becouse i use me 99 ranged instead and just dont want a high combat lvl at all. Of course if i got em to 99 then no one would care what i would use ...
Its just mine opinion wich is based on ppl intolerance and lack of understanding that some ppl might be interested in ranging or maging maybe, istead of melee... Ok it's me opinion wich is based from one side and understand that i dont hate melee tbh i am very good at using it but i choosed what i choosed and now i pay the price for that, just thought i could share me opinion.
