Can you believe it?!?!?! Guthix Plateskirts are only 47k or lower! Wow... I am amazed on how runescape has becomed now! Only 47k in the grand exchange. That is amazing.
What do you think my fellow runescapers?

It's the same with Rune (g) and (t) - really crazy prices, but no one is selling any.

There are a bunch of factors contributing to this.. MOST items go down in price over time. Guthix has never been the most popular of the god armours. (rune) plateskirts are mostly worn by girls..less girls than boys in runescape = less demand for plateskirts The grand exchange stopped people from merchanting higher prices as easily. There may be more factors but these are all the ones that I can see

You can thank jagex and there extreme changes they made to the game late last year. I can understand doing one extreme thing and then letting things settle -that alone is risky and some mmog have been ruined from it. Jagex had the bright idea of doing several MASSIVE changes and we're now seeing the results of it all, as the dust settles. Things in time will go back to normal but er, level 3 clues really are becoming pointless. |

i really think that jagex should take some action about things like these, like lock values for skirts and legs to be the same, or set price minimums for treasure trail items to preserve their wealth. why should a drop with the same rarety, demand, or usefullness, cost signifigantly more or less than other items? grr, i'm rambling incoherantly, but my point remains the same! on a similar note, did you know that when your karils bow degrades, it is better to alch it and buy a new one than to repair it? karils bows cost abotu 100k, and they alch for 96k. they cost a lot more to repair them.

I'd just alch the skirt. I wouldn't mind being able to take the skirt to a NPC and exchange it for platelegs. |

That means they are basically same price as rune legs. Meh .. Just alch them from now on then. |

The same comments concerning skirts and legs also applies to dragon ones. The skirts are about a fifth the price of legs. Simply a case of demand. |

I've always had the feeling whenever I get a clue scroll that I have a great chance of becoming a lot wealthier. I had a long run of bad rewards and I thought I'd get another bad one, instead I got a Robin Hood Hat. Good rewards come when you least expect. If you get some platelegs from a drop or clue reward then you can exchange them for platelegs. People who want plateskirts could just exchange platelegs for skirts. |
