Hi.

What did you think in the good times of when you were a newb in RuneScape? I know that we all thought things did different things in our time.

Once I thought you could trade items by drop trading them if they weren't tradeable. Another is I thought fires were "made from the witches in RuneScape and if you walked through a fire, you would lose HP. XD

So what were yours? :D

Well tbh, I don't think I had those kind of thoughts. The only thing I can think of, is that I thought the RuneScape was mainly lumbridge and varrock. I had no idea it was so big with other towns.

Well I thought alot of things were true that arn't. Mainly that fires could damage you, the world of runescape was falador, lumbridge and varrock and that when you died you didn't lose any items (I lost about 20k when i died the first time #-o That was alot to me).

For the first month rs to me was Cows, Goblins, varrok and lumbridge.

I pretty much mined in varrok, smithed in lummy and trained on cows in between.

I remember when I didn't know that you could die or put your items in a bank.

I got killed by a cow.

I was scared of leaving Lumbridge.
I wanted to go back to "that island".
I finally found someone who would bring me to the bank, was following him, got stuck in the gate of the chicken farm, and then couldn't find him. (It was too busy)
Doing the Easter 05 event not knowing what I was doing.
Couldn't pass white wolf mountain without dieing, was proud when I finally did.
Would train crafting by mining clay in rimmington, walk to fally, get my 1 bucket, fill it with water 27 times while making soft clay, walking to barbarian village and using the potters' wheel + furnace.
Would train mining and smithing by mining in rimmington, smithing in falador, and storing up to make bronze in Varrock.
Finding a bank (Varrock east) (finally!!) and asking someone if they wanted to fight outside of it, they said okay, so I told them he'd have to attack me because I didn't have the option- he replied that he didn't either- it puzzled me.
Training fishing, cooking, woodcutting, and firemaking in Port Sarim. (Firemaking + woodcut only cutting + burning when needing too cook)
Making the suggestion for more rocks (especially silver) to be put in.
Getting a genie lamp, mis-reading the text about it and thinking it would raise your level by 1 each one you had. And then freaking out because I didn't know which skill to use it on, and going to the bank to realize that you can't store them.
"Why are you burning all those logs in the line?"
Getting 68 fishing with the message "You can now enter the fishing guild", not knowing that there was one.
HAM robes were awesome.
Buying an adamant battle axe from port sarim shop, using it a few times (it was awesome), pking someone at the darkwarriors castle, and thinking that the axe was invincible.
Doing Pirate's Treasure, logging out in the middle, and when I logged in most of it was done. (Glitch or hacked, I dunno XD)
Starting all the quests with no intent on finishing/doing anything.
Requesting help on Gertude's cat. (From my now longest friend)
Almost finishing Plague City without knowing what I was doing.
(This was a few months later) Cutting willows by the champions guild, fletching them into longbows (u), dropping, and repeating and got 50 fletching and thought it was pretty nice.
Being surprised how Elvarg died easily. (Somewhat believed the "take off your shield" think)

What I mainly remember is having a couple of hundred gp thinking I was really rich.

- I remember mining and getting a genie lamp that put me up a lvl and thinking this was going to be easy.
- For the longest time I stayed at lvl 13 combat and wasn't sure what the big deal was when people reacted to me being in the mining guild.
- I remember walking a lot before finally figuring out I could run.

I remember getting like 60 mining before doing like any other skills. I would just camp in the Falador mine and mine coal. :?

1. Thinking 10k was "super rich"
2. Always carring my axe, pik, tinderbox, small net, and 10gp so i would be "ready for anything"
3. Thinking people wanted to buy bronze piks. (i got like 200 from the spawns in lumbridge and tried to sell them)
4. Thought noob was a compliment.
5. Didn't know how to use the bank. (or find one for that matter)
6. Missed tutorial island tutors. (they were nice to me...)

Yes i was a huge noob. i was bored and typed free game into google last year in january and found rs.

I thought that if you put the highway man on ignore he couldn't attack you. I thought you could fight anyone, anywhere, and I thought the whole game was combat.
