I think Runescape has finally reached it's end. Ofcourse it has come long before any of us had imagined, but we can only blame Jagex. No longer can we exchange items on our own, Jagex now dictate the prices, and don't let you change them at all. The Wilderness is gone (Hah, there's something I never though I'd say) and replaced with some minigame. Pker's now may not even get the loot when they kill their enemy? WTF? And what was supposed to be RSBANDB's greatest Drop Party yet, is now ruined. I know I have donated almost 1m worth of items so far, so expect players who get "a free teleport" to our party. It's sad to see this day... Jagex have gone in the wrong direction, and I seriously hope they pay for this, in a huge profit loss. I, for one, will be quitting, and most likely giving away my items (Oh wait, am I allowed to give them away?). I know I should have posted this in the News forum, but since the terrible news is spread out over 4 threads, I couldn't pick which one. |

I really don't see the big deal with todays updates. I honestly didn't think they were THAT bad. Lets look at it .. 3k either way trades - Good thing - Merchanting dies. Bank Space - Very good thing, of course. Bounty Hunter - Indifferent - I don't pk much, seems like they just renamed the wilderness to be honest. Gravestones - Good thing - My items won't disappear as fast. I get them back. Clan Wars - Stupid .. - But i'm not involved with clans anymore, so doesn't effect me. Dropped item thing - Why would you drop something worth more than 3k except at a drop party ... Which were always pointless affairs anyway? Jagex controlling the market prices - Is this such a bad thing? Maybe some items will start to stable out. Raw materials falling in price = Cheaper to raise smithing, fletching etc. 40% Of Wilderness gone - Face it, OVER 40% of the wilderness isn't used. Overall i'd actually say we got a positive out of this really. Or am I missing something? |

If anyone quits because of this, good riddance. Runescape doesn't need people like you. You expect gold farmers and rwi trading to disappear just like that? Expecting Jagex to wave a magic wand and solve all the problems is not going to happen. Get over it. Things need to be changed because it's far too easy to transfer items between accounts - which has always been against the rules except gifts/drop parties. They have needed to be sanctioned because people are cheating - I don't like it, you don't like it, what's your problem? Wilderness is "ruined" - boo freaking hoo. Bounty Hunting is the new wilderness. Though you probably don't like that because you'd get owned by anyone with an ounce of skill, or a defence level. It's quite evident from today's update Jagex isn't pussy-footing about with this any more, get used to things changing cause I'm sure more is to come. |

They've seriously got a problem with getting rid of rule breakers. :/ Many many bad updates have happened just because of that, and i don't say this one's good either. I wonder how soon they'll quit RS because they think there's too many people breaking their oh-so-important rules, just so the old loyal players' gaming experience wouldn't be ruined by those who "break the rules" (AKA say something "offensive" and get perm ban) Too bad at that time Jages have already ruined the game theirselves, which it's heading at all the time. |

Harsh Anubis, harsh. I've never once complained about RWT and Autoers, I've never had a problem with them. I'm down with change, but I can only take so much. These drastic changes have altered the ENTIRE game and it's players. There Wilderness comment doesn't apply to me, so I'm not sure where that came from. I'm not a pure, and I rarely enter the Wilderness. I was simply commenting on the change. What is the point of Pk'ing when you may not even get the loot? Gravestones? Come on... This was the last straw for me, I was planning on cutting my play time significantly anyway. I just think Jagex have been focussing in the wrong direction for too long now. |

Whenever i'm ranting i never direct it at one single person - "You" means anyone who does quit because of this update. Harsh gets people's attention tbh. |

Well now I don't really care about being banned now. It saves me the grief of not being able to do anything freely. GF Runescape. |

Um, am I the only one here that's not actually affected by any of these updates, on account of that I hardly trade, merchant, or PK? |

if jagex was smart, they wouldve set things up to prevent all this stuff when they FIRST STARTED not 7 years later when they have millions of players....im not gonna quit, but lets just say im not very happy. ps: cant even bump my clans thread cause forums wont open for me pps: clan wars needs rewards not "the joy of victory" like maybe a thing where the clan members put in money before the war. |

This is terrible. A great game, now worse than doing my physics homework. I might as well quit for good. |
