Has any1 here dun the new quest (Between a Rock...)? My frends sed that once you finish it you have acess to a new metal with wich you can smith a new armor...is this tru?? |

ya my frend sed there was and when i sed there wasnt he sed "yes there is you noob!" so i was a bit hurt by that and i wanted to know if there really was a new metal because he sounded so sure of himself :p |

I'm 75% sure that there isn't a new metal. But as you can see in the Between the Rock Quest Guide...there is a Gold Helmet. |

I dont know anything about this new metal... He offers to sell them, and I have heard people have offered 17 mil cash they had on them, but he wont sell. We'll just have to see, but I'm sure this will have some significance in the future.

jagex wouldn't introduce a new metal type and new whole armor class for smithing without writing an update about it. But I have seen the gold helms, The look isn't that good tho |

If a new ore was introduced, then the rs economy would be hell. And smithing uses most if not all lvls, so you wouldnt be able to smith it |

Not completely true, they could stack up some items so you could fit a new type of gear in. Kind of like when they add new weapons, but it messes up the system. *Looks how all of Rune 2 Hander, Rune Legs, Rune Skirt and Rune Chest all require 99 smithing*

I've done it today... But I don't see any part where I offer him..Maybe a was sleeping 
But I only remember when he showed me the part he kicked the rock with his boots..He said thats the granite boot.. Well, the gold helmet weights around 30kg, which is a lot.. Now, I really don't think there is one.. |
