hi, ok firstly, in this guide i'll be going over what stats are best, which options are best, how to catch whip carriers out. (i may add an advanced version also) If you you notice the arena is full of level 85's - 97s, so i'd suggest of makin a character around the combat level of 92. I'll say what levels to get for mage, melle and range so dont worry. I'll start with melle what has worked best for me and many of my friends is for Duelling is leaving pray at level 1, reason for this is 99% of stakers put pray off in a duel, so why have level 48 and gain 6 combat levels for it ? also leave Range and Mage at level 1 so you dont get much hp levels, reason for this if you want a dueller you will want your melleer to be as much as a melleer as he can. Have attack 10 levels in front of defense, and have strength 10 levels in front of attack ( this works for me). e.g 60 def, 70 attack, 80 strength. For Range, many level 80 melleers will duel a level 60 pure ranger with 85 range +, it can be risky but when my freinds did it they won 90% of the time with it, I'd suggest gettin 90 range, 1 strength, 1 attack, 50 defense ( get this by maging with defense on), with these stats many people will face you even knowing your pure, stake level 80-90 Mage is similar to range get high Mage and high def, and leave pray at 1. OPTIONS This is my usual staking options, food, pray, pots, no jewlery, no armour, no movement, no forfeit. BEWARE ! many many people try switching the options and catch you out so ALWAYS check your options and make sure they accept first. I'll say a little trick that many people know but if your patient it can work well for you i get 500ks here and there by doing it ... right say you want a boxing match and put weapons off and leave all fighting, range and mage on, many people accept thinking its a boxing match but you blow them away with magic, this is very nooby and many people catch you out but if your patient i guarantee you will get some beginner dueller with it. WATCH OUT FOR PEOPLE WHO KNOW IT - so dont do it with high magers. For range i know a little trick, It requires guts though, say a level 100 wants to duel and your going to lose say you want food on and tell him you want to see him with 10 lobsters only, you get a full load of shark, many people dont know that this will destroy almost any level because with armour off your always going to hit quite high, they eat all their food and you should have around 5-10 shark left, then your sorted, believe it or not many people fall for this and so far from my duelling experience i have killed many 100s thinkin they are going to win, (watch people take a friend who carries shark so they trade quick so you both have shark then you will lose, so go into a corner in the arena with no one about and do it then) Not sure if someone has a whip or maul ? again take them into a corner and tell them to show you a full inventory of junk so it doesnt contain a whip, make sure they are not wielding the whip and no other friends about to trade them the whip. well .. thats by guide for beginners. thank you, and feel free to comment about it so i can make it better and know if its worthwhile be doing anymore. |

The stats you said for melee are entirely wrong. You want atk and def equal, and about 10 higher than strength. I have an 86 combat with this and it beats 100 combat easily. 1 pray, and 50 range, so it can wear blue vambs(hp exp for 50 range is pretty much none) |
