I'm going to give my house a good re-sorting, but of course I'm going to plan it all out.
I want it to be useful for my personal needs, but also be good for parties and such.
Here are the current plans for my house:
Basement:
Ground Floor:
The portal will be the garden on the far bottom. It will be nothing but a portal, so that the other gardens look like a front gate to the house and a courtyard at the same time.
Second Floor:
The room to the far left here is going to be a costume room.
What I don't like about it so far is my room being in the basement =/ I would have put it upstairs, but I cant put a room over a garden. The kitchen also seems far from the entrance, but there's no space on the first floor without messing up the symmetry.
One of my ideas are to put my bedroom and some other room next to the throne room, and make the kitchen right next to the dungeon stairs in the basement. (Keeping the servant's bedroom down there. All she does is whine and whine until she gets paid, then she's magically nice for the 5 seconds it takes to pull the money out.)
