Ya, you need to either get 2 phone lines- 1 used for your computer 1 used for your phone...either that or make sure no body calls |

I don't think that works, since it isn't the phone that the call comes through....it's the phone line, and im guessing he has dial-up, so he has to have the phone line plugged in. But I have dial-up also and mine doesn't cut me off when someone calls. I dunno why, but it does make me lose connection on rs |

I had the same problem...I use a wireless card for my laptop, and whenever someonw would call (usualy someone I didnt want to talk to), My internet would cut off...But I had a good friend change a few settings...and now it works fine. You may need to change the signal frequency or whatever . |

i like SBC, i like them wayyy better than comcast. comcast over charges. i have two phone lines cuz we first used netzero cuz it was free and it was before dsl came out and since we get a lot of calls quite frequently it was our only option when netzero started to charge we got AOL, iono why we just did. then when SBC got cheap we got it ![]() |
