Well, I think RuneScape is very basic so heres my suggestion.

First off they should add races such => Orcs,Elves,Night Elves,Dwarfs etc.

Secondly we need more magic spell from different kind such => Necromencer,Basic,Ancient,Summoner,Lunar and an other with a mix of them all.

Thirdly we need Advanced combat style. What I mean there? I mean that its should have an addition to for exemple warrior, Its should be something like => Swordsman,Barbarian,Knight,Paladin etc.

For Mage => Master Mage,Wizard,Demonologist

For Ranger => No idea yet... :P


Finnally we should have also Advanced Races. Heres some exemples :

Demons,Undeads,Death Knights,Ogre,Troll,Ghouls etc.

You get get an Advanced race by getting cursed by the monster, Its would be a Random Event. And you would have different stage of Evolution. For exemple we will take Demon

1st stage - Little Demon
2nd - Half Demon
3rd - Demon
4th - Arch Demon

And you could get an Advanced combat style by using a training from a Master such : Master Paladin, Master Knight etc.

I'd probably quit if that happens, I like the way Runescape is.

Don't need any drastic updates. Maybe a graphical update on the people.

Hmm... Why do I feel the vibes from World of Warcraft there?
Seriously, if Jagex would make such an update, it would just be like WoW.
And I like my RuneScape as it is.
And would you have any idea how this would change everything on RuneScape? Jagex would have to rescript the whole game!

I say no to this suggestion.

well technically we already have orcs, elves, dwarves etc. but they're not going to be made playable.

Personally if RuneScape turns into anything like WoW I'll quit because I can't stand it. Especially th combat system. I like how you can choose to do whatever you feel like doing that day instead of having to create a new account to do it. So if an Orc character on Runescape was the only type able to use melee, I'd have to make a new character and discard my old one if I ever wanted to try that. And i really wouldn't like that. :(

I still think that only Human in runescape is kinda boring. Jagex should add something which isnt Orc or stuff but which isnt a Human either.

But I also think that RuneScape need more magic spell.

Well, as with most suggestions, try to make it add something to the game rather than make it look and feel like every other bog standard mmorpg out there. Even though there's not any choice in "race" we get the option to do whatever we want, we're not restricted by "race" now, so what good will more races give?

Unfortunately variety won't cut it, RuneScape likes to be different which is probably why we all like it. :)

Personally, I would quit it forever. I don't play any oher mmporgs because of that, I think that only having a human race makes it good.

I just don't like the idea between multiple races.

If they introduced that now it would mess everything up. Maybe they'll do it in RS3 when ever that happens.
Personally I like that it is all the same race, I'm not good at choosing 1 thing and sticking with it so i'd probably make loads of accounts which were different races.
Simplicity is the best way to go.

Well I have some idea's for Rangers.

A ranger class. Like the normal rangers we have now.

A marksmen class.

A hunter class?

Dunno, just throwing out ideas.

^ Runescape shouldn't turn intp WOW but jagex could create a spell that turns you into a different animal(kind of like turning into an easter egg but you walk around, fight, train, etc.) and you could reverse the spell by casting it again. This spell would require no runes and require 30minutes to recharge like the home tele to prevent people for training with it.
