Post subject:  Pure or not?

I've been debating with myself about this for a long time.

Sure having stats that are abnormal for my level is fun and all, but it's restricting.

Like Slayer for example, that's so hard to train because of the lack of defence. I would really like to get my slayer level up but it's hard.

Not to mention, I can't wield my favorite weapon, the whip. I remember selling my whip once on my old account, I bought it back the next day because I just couldn't stand not having it. While fighting with it, I felt so sluggish.

I've already passed my old account in a few skills (Woodcutting, Fletching, and Hunting), and I like to think that I have a pretty decent total already (1,036).

It's just the things I got so used to doing on a normal account that I missed. Like fighting Steel Dragons, doing those really challenging quests, not getting hit every god **** time I get a stick thrown at me.

Only thing is I know if I make my account a normal account, I'll miss having a "different" account. There's just much more things you can do with a normal account, but there's also a lot you can do with a "different" account also.

So I need some opinions, these opinions won't make the final decision, but it will definitely help.

I know what you're going to say already Shane, but go ahead and post your opinion anyway.

Normal acount.

Why? Well for one you can get some decent combat levels while training defence and you won't be called a pure noob anymore.

Your account really isn't different from other accounts in the current state it is in. It has levels and it's made out of pixels. Not that much different in my opion.

So I say don't be a pure. It's pointless to me. 8)

I don't know about you but pures are a bigger pleasure for me.

I prefer not being pure, the lack of defence is a massive drawback, training is either pest control or just wastes food.

You're also limited to a small amount of quests.

Technically if you have 70 defence you're not a pure. Seriously you might as well call it a main.

A pure is where you sort of sacrifice one skill (mainly defence) to keep your combat low whilst at the same time having high offensive combat skills.

Having 70 defence, which I think is too high to be classed as a pure.

I think a normal account is better because you can just fully enjoy the game that way.
I do have a level 44 melee pure with 52 strenght but that's not for pking.
I use it as a scout/looter killer when my clan or my RR team goes pking.
Well, why would i pk with a lvl 44 when i can pk with a lvl 125.
