Post subject:  Wilderness Warzone

Imagine that you are standing, fully clad in your favorite wilderness gear, in a line with 100 of your favorite wilderness partners.

The countdown begins... "10...9...8..."

Across a small divide, you see 100 of your enemies lined up, taunting and screaming at you.

The countdown continues... "7...6...5..."

You look to your left and to your right, observing the boundaries that will confine the battle.

"4...3...2..."

There will be no escaping from this battlefield.

"...1..."


"...0..."

The battle begins...




We have all been involved in some sort of team warfare in the wilderness, but there are problems with such warfare:
*looters
*party crashes
*rule breakers (i.e. you want a melee only, no mage war)
*uneven ways to divide the spoils
*etc

Wilderness Wars would be an area in the Wilderness that is sectioned off for team warfare.
You would be able to set up team battles of X number of people (as small as 2v2 to as large as 100v100). You would be able to set up rules, much like you can in the Dueling Arena.

There will be no way to teleport out of the battle. The only way out is for the battle to end or for you to die. When you die, you get teleported to the observation stands to watch the outcome. The battle ends when all the members on one team are dead.

The spoils are divided among the winning team. How?
* There could be a time after the battle when everyone from the winning team gets to pick with a priority based on their survival time or kill count.
* The spoils could be divided randomly
* You could take items from whoever you killed ("after the fight you come up with a box on your screen with all the stuff the people you killed had, and you get the oportunity to straight bank it from that box, therefore saving having to waste shark so you have the inventory space to pick items up or whatever." ) from "You Make Me"


Spoils would be
* everything losing team had when they died
or
* stakes (like duel arena)

Credit for the origin of this idea goes to Lokis Wolf , who first posted this in a thread full of many other comments as well. His thread went largely unnoticed, possibly due to the title, but I wanted this idea brought up and put into action.

I expanded on the idea, and will continue to do so as everyone makes suggestions and comments. That's what the following reserved posts are for. After a couple days, we should have a well thought out and structured first page to temp the Jagex developers with.

I want to say that the wildernis is a free for all.
A place where chaos rules, the Chaos Elemental for example.
Creating a place of order there would mess up the wildernis.

Besides I like the freedome in Runescape.

I am High Chancellor of a Honour clan called Runescape Elites.
When our fights get crashed I'm annoyed by it aswell but that's what Anti-Crash is for.

Things like that puts our creative mind at world and that's why I like it.

That would be very interesting, but like Metalmaniac9 said, it's the Wilderness! The Wilderness is a place where there is supposed to be no rules, and I'd like to see it kept that way. However, it would be nice if we had an area like that, only it would be a new place altogether. I encourage you to keep up the suggestion! :)
